Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha
My first Fan fiction! If you review go easy on me…. I don't take constructive criticism very well. Well enjoy!
Oh P.S it's a one shot!
Chapter One (of one)
A lone figure walked upon the path to the forest as autumn leaves gracefully fell from the trees above.
"Why?" the young girl thought to herself as she looked at her feet left, right, left, right.
Her long black hair gracefully fell upon her slumped shoulders. Hazel eyes watched the ground as if it was going to tell her all the answers.
"Why did you leave me?" she thought again, but this time completed her thought. Tears began to form in her eye. Her uniform was covered in dirt and blood, indicating that she had been in a battle. The most noticeable blood stain was a gash in her left arm. Three cuts ran down her arm. They looked as if someone had grabbed her and she pulled away. But she knew it was nothing like that.
Nothing of the sort.
"Inuyasha…" the girl whispered to herself as she reached the bone eaters well. She looked behind her at the village. Children were playing, parents were keeping a watchful eye and Kaede the village priestess was tending to a child's scratch.
A mere scratch.
A scratch was nothing compared to a broken heart. Nothing.
The girl looked down the well. A couple bones lay at the bottom and vines were slowly growing to the top, to get a glimpse of the beautiful world. Yes, a beautiful world. But the vines would die soon anyway. It was starting to get cold. The sun started to set leaving pink and orange in the sky.
She sat down on the edge of the well and let all the pain come out at once. Tears streamed down her face as she thought of all of her friends.
No one remembered any of them. No one remembered her. They all forgot. As if they were never there.
"I guess that that is the price you pay to help others, they all forget about the hero's" she said as only the tip of the sun was left. No one remembered Sango, Miroku, Shippou, Kirara or even Inuyasha.
She still remembered Inuyasha.
"I will always remember Inuyasha, from the day we met to the day he left" she whispered to herself as the last bit of golden sun fell. She whipped the tears from her eyes and turned around, her legs dangling above the bottom of the well. She turned her head and whispered softly
"You'll always be a hero to me Inuyasha."
It sucked I know. But anyway, go ahead review. Whatever. Well, also what I forgot to mention was how she got those scratched on her arm. Well, Inuyasha pushed her away (so she wouldn't get hurt of course) and his claws ripped her flesh… so yeah.
Thanks for reading!
