A poem which was inspired by Andrew. L. Webber's lyrics for
'Point of no return'
Love and Hate
A drop of maliciousness
The hint of evil
The manifesting of a dragon
Sly and sleek
The splash of bravery
A pinch of innocence
The creation of a lion
Courageous and loyal
A behaviour nothing less of royalty
With the sweet seduction of looks
Diamonds call out to those Emeralds
Causes the pain yet euphoria so dearly desired
The only bind is between the enemies
Intriguing one another
With the differences that envelope
The flames which consume them
Hands which touch so lovingly
But also hurt so devastatingly
Both increase the pain
Yet the passion would always come out on top
Games played behind eyes of others
Abandoning all thoughts
Falling under the spell
Devouring one another
Blood begins to race
Fingers entwine
Lips meet
ERISED
