Prologue: Prisoner of war
It was planned to be like the previous missions the La'Kruze squad had undertaken, the target was once again the ArcAngel and the X105-Strike G-weapon, this time though the battlefield was to be the Earth. After the failed attempts of the 'Desert Tiger', Zaft once again called upon the La'Kruze team to stop the ArcAngel from delivering the strike to its final location, Earth Forces HQ in Alaska. As the ArcAngel was travelling over the ocean a storm front was detected approaching, and the ArcAngel would have to pass through it at some point. Zaft decided to attack the legged ship during the night it chose to move through the storm, hoping to take the ship by surprise. The attack was to be led by the X104-Blitz, because with its unique abilities it was chosen to destroy the main launch bays first before the other stolen G-weapons joined in, this way the strike would not be able to launch and Zaft would have a better chance to succeed.
At least that was the plan, however plans seldom last when you make first contact with the enemy…………
