El Capitulo Uno (Chapter 1)

The Future

TAILS'S HOUSE/WORKSHOP

It's been 15 years since the Heroes defeated Metal Sonic. 8 years ago, Sonic finally found a love for Amy and married her. They had a son named Sonny, a purple hedgehog with spiky hair like Sonic and had the eyes of Amy. A year after, Knuckles and Rouge disappeared for a while, coming back married and with a son named Ruckle who had bat ears and gigantic hands as well as the birthmark on Knuckles's chest. 4 years after that, Tails and Cream married after going out for about 5 years and had a daughter named Crails. She had two rabbit ears and two tails and had Cream's eyes and Tails's smarts. Even Cheese found his soul mate with a Chao named Angel and had a baby named Tiny who hung out with Crails.

The three of them (actually four, including Tiny) played in the sandbox at Tails's house. At the time, Sonny was 7, Ruckle was 6, and Crails was 2. The Sonic Heroes had grown old after all the work they had done and they had decided to train the kids soon because they too would have to save the world. Ruckle's doll (action figure) was thrown onto a branch by Sonny, so Crails flew up with her ears and tails to get the doll. Sonic and Tails watched from a window in the house.

"Wow, Sonic, they're growing so fast!" Tails said.

"Yup, I hope they turn out just like us…" Sonic said. A tear dropped out of his eye as Knuckles walked over.

"Sonic! Are you crying!" Knuckles said in surprise.

"Maybe I am." Sonic said. "Okay, I am. I just remembered all the good times we had. Stupid Egghead and Shadow and Chaos, all gone and never did anything for us." He said with a hint of a chuckle.

SPACE COLONY ARK – SHADOW'S HOME

"Earth…" Shadow said. "Sonic must be having some fun down there. 65 years old and still young. Nobody even celebrates my birthday anymore."

"Hello, Shadow." Someone said.

Shadow was surprised. No one was in the ARK but him. Who could it be?

"I haven't forgotten your birthday, because that day… is the day of your death."

"Who are you!" Shadow yelled into the darkness. Then he fell and saw nothing more.

NOTE: I know that this is a short chapter, sorry about that. But the reason why it has a Romance genre is because Sonny, Crails, and Ruckle get caught in a love triangle later in the story. I'll update soon!
