It had been something unexpected… and that's why it had been no real surprise. You quickly learned to never group Alucard in the same level of understanding as everyone else… for he wasn't someone to be understood.

She gasped heavily and tilted her head back further even as an unwilling protest escaped from her lips. "Master… we shouldn't be doing this."
Alucard's own lips smirked against her throat as he ground harder into her.
"Why not Police Girl? …Don't you want to?" he said between nibbles of her flesh.
Seras moaned again as he hit a particularly sensitive spot. She wanted to, Oh Gods, did she want to, but still…
"This doesn't feel right, Master. Something's wrong."
Alucard laughed gently as his lips traveled from her throat to directly beside her ear. "Nothing's wrong, Police Girl. In fact, everything is going exactly as planned."
Seras' pleasure turned into confusion. Plan? What plan?
It was then that she saw her. The once-proud Hellsing heir, leaning against the wall for support… tears running down her face. As their eyes met, Integraturned abruptly and ran from them. Not walked, ran.In her footsteps, Seras could imagined she could hear the sound of a breaking heart. But for some reason… she felt like it wasn't Integra's.
Turning back to Alucard, Seras began to speak,but stoppedas she saw the look in his eyes. They never turned from the direction in which Integra had gone.
"Well, well, Police Girl,"his voice echoed within her soul, mocking, triumphant,"Looks like you've finally served your purpose."
Laughing, Alucard disappeared, gone to join his own Master. Seras collapsed against the wall, desolving into her own tearful laughter. After all these years, she had finally found out why Alucard turned her. After all these years, she finally knew. Funny… after all these years, he had finally done something expected.
