Ravens brother part 8

Authors note: if anything in this chapter seems similar to Shaman king it is purely coincidence. Also I still don't own the Teen Titans, a tactical nuclear missile, half the Kuwaitian oil fields or the Dallas cowboys, I do however own Drajo, his other four incarnations and the sword of Azarath so I feel a little better.

I'm VERY SORRY for not updating for so long but it's my G.C.S.E year and I've got about a month until they start so I've been very busy with coursework.

Right now that's out of the way, on with the show

The sword of

Azarath/

Re-enter Rorek

Drajo stared at the sword in his hands, at a loss for words. The sound of glass crunching underfoot snapped him out of his trance as Raven walked up to him. Transferring the sword to his left hand he held his sisters face with his right.

"You look terrible, anyone would think you'd been locked away in a glass cell for the last three days" Raven smiled at her brother's half-hearted attempt at comedy,

"Even Beast boy's jokes aren't that bad" Drajo smiled

"Don't insult me" he lifted the sword

"Anyway how the hell did I get this, did you give it to me?"

His sister looked as if he had just asked her to get blood from a stone

"Me, I can't give anyone the sword of Azarath"

A confused look crossed Drajos face "the sword of Azarath?"

Raven remembered that she had never told him about the sword, she took a deep breath and began to explain.

"The sword of Azarath is kind of like Excalibur, only the greatest warrior on Azarath can wield it and only one person, the high priestess of Azarath can give the sword to anyone and not just anyone can use it. The person needs to be the chosen champion of the high priestess or else the sword will destroy them. Besides the high priestess was killed over a decade ago so there's no way you could get it".

"But in here I live on" an angelic voice said behind them. Upon turning around Drajo saw someone he'd heard about but never seen and Raven saw someone she thought she'd never see again. It was…

"Mother" Raven whispered, although it was impossible, Arella, high priestess of Azarath stood before the pair, dressed in a flowing gown of glittering purple. It was obvious to Drajo where Raven got her good looks from for like her daughter Arella had purple hair; so long it reached her waist, bright eyes that shined like amethyst and a Azarath jewel in the middle of her forehead, pale blue unlike her daughters which was dark red also her skin was not grey but pale white, unlike Ravens, not tainted by the demonic genes of Trigon, Ravens father.

"Yes daughter it is I"

"But how, I thought you were murdered by my father when I was a baby", a sad smile crossed Arella's face

"I was but in here just as your father takes the role of Rage, I take the form of one of your emotions as well"

"Which one?"

"Hope my daughter, hope"

"Then how come I've never seen you before?"

"I never had reason to become my true form as you've always had hope before, I merely rekindled that hope by giving your brother the sword of Azarath"

Drajo hefted the blade "so it was you who gave me this"

"Yes Drajo, it was I who gave you the sword for you are worthy of its power. You are a worthy warrior and pure of heart and soul, you have given your sister hope and for that I am eternally grateful as the runes on the sword say 'may he who wields this blade install hope in the hearts of those who have none', I consider you my champion and my son and I am proud and honoured to do so. With this sword you have the power to cleanse the evil of Malchior from your sisters mind"

"But how? If this sword has some hidden power that can defeat Malchior then I have no idea how to use it"

"It is not the sword but a part of you that has the power to defeat the dark dragon" once again the young dragon looked shocked

"Me? How can I defeat Malchior?"

"It is not truly you but a previous you, that is a previous incarnation, that holds the key"

"Will you help me find this incarnation?"

"Yes my son I shall help you"

Drajo smiled at those words as his spiritual mother reached out and held his left hand with her right and grasped Ravens right hand with her left, Raven then rested her hand on the swords pommel (the bit of the hilt that you hold it by) so it touched Drajos. Arella and Raven then began to chant an archaic chant (authors note. I can't speak Azarathian so I'm just going to write the English equivalent).

"By the altar of Azar, the gates of Metrion and the line of Zinthos, spirits heed the call of Arella Zinthos, high priestess of Azarath and of Raven Zinthos, spawn of Trigon and grant our request, send this one into his mind to meet the person he once was, to meet the wizard Rorek, spirits heed our call." Drajo began to feel dizzy and sank to his knees in a trance.

Drajo wandered aimlessly through a great blanket of mist and fog, searching for someone whom he had never met before but had been very close to him all his life, every so often he would spot a lone figure but would shy away, knowing in his heart that that each figure he had found was not the one he was searching for. After what seemed what like hours of searching he saw another dark figure looming out of the fog. As he drew closer to the figure he knew this was the person he had been searching for. It was the wizard Rorek.

The wizard stood a few inches shorter than his current incarnation and was dressed in shining silver armour with a black scarf covering the lower half of his face, he had long white hair although he couldn't have been any older then the dragon and bright blue eyes that seemed to bore into your very soul. Drajo bowed his head in respect.

"Its an honour to finally meet you Rorek" the wizard let out a small chuckle

"You're not meeting anyone new, I've been in here all your life, you just never knew it. Lets get down to business, you want to know if I can help you defeat Malchior?"

Drajo nodded

"Come this wretched fog bank is not the place for such an important conversation, shall we go somewhere else to discuss this further?"

The drake nodded and Rorek extended his arm and suddenly the two were in a grand room, decked out in fashions that had not been seen for a thousand years.

One wall was a massive bookcase, filled with all manner of archaic tomes and texts, a fireplace was set in the opposite wall with two wooden seats near it, a massive Persian carpet covered the floor, a third wall was covered with weapons and trophies like barbaric looking axes, spears and shields, sets of swords and the heads of many creatures, wolf, bear and lion but also many mythological creatures, minotour, ogre, troll, gryphon and most worrying to Drajo a dragons head, upon closer inspection he saw it was a dark dragons head, he wondered if it was a relation of Malchiors. In the centre of the room stood a great oak table, covered in opened spell books, chemistry equipment and a few odd looking spell ingredients.

Drajo went over to the nearby window and looked out, trying to see where his previous self had brought him.

He was in the top of a massive tower made of grey stone, in a rolling landscape of lush green forests and meadows, there was a massive lake, crystal clear, untainted by human pollution. Around its shores grazed all manner of wildlife, some normal like horses, deer and rabbits, some the stuff of myth like unicorns, winged horses, even a pair of green dragons. To the west immense grey mountains, the peaks topped with white snow and waterfalls, cascading into pools of deep blue water. On the horizon he could see the bank of fog, separated from this place by a massive set of gates, made of black metal. He was so enthralled by the view that he didn't notice Rorek come up behind him.

"Beautiful isn't it?" his voice made Drajo jump.

"Yes it's quite a view, why are all these mythological creatures here, I thought they didn't exist" Rorek rolled his eyes and answered

"They don't anymore, by about the fifteenth centaury most had died out, humans had wiped them out with hunting"

"Oh". Drajo regretted asking him, in his time all these creatures were still around, he knew it must be hard for Rorek to know that so many things from his former life were no more.

"Where are we?" he asked the wizard

"We are in your mind Drajo, or at least my part of it"

"Your part of it?"

"Yes my part of it or at least the part that was copied from the memories of my home when I was alive. I guess I'll have to explain. You know what re-incarnation is don't you?"

"Yes"

"Well when someone dies their soul doesn't cease to exist, it is merely re-used to house a new incarnation, a new person, a new part of the soul, complete with their own personality, feelings and memories, unfortunately many incarnations are not strong enough to last through the ages and many fade away, however some do not fade away completely and linger on, these lost incarnations are the source of the myths and legends of ghosts and spirits. Some, a very small minority are strong enough and do last through the ages. That's the best explanation I can give, to be honest I still don't understand it myself and I've been around for a thousand years. I'm sure you've got a thousand questions so ask away"

"Does everyone have all these past incarnations?"

"Everyone will have many past incarnations as all souls have been re-used many times but very few will have one they can remember"

"How many do I have?"

"You have about five, including myself. They are Vladimir Kurov, a Russian Cossack from the Crimean war, Kai-sin a samurai from the fifteenth centaury, a Saracen assassin from the crusades going by the name of Al Jaraka and a roman legionnaire Martinus Liang. We have lasted this long because as warriors and a sorcerer we have an iron will that is strong enough to last the test of time"

"About five, how can I have about five?"

"Well there is one more, I think he was an Azarathian priest but I'm not sure"

"Why?"

"Because he wasn't strong enough to resist the sands of time, at least not entirely, he isn't strong enough to have his own part in your mind but not weak enough to vanish completely so he wanders around like a ghost, he usually stays in the nexus, that's that big fog bank where we met but sometimes he goes into the other parts, I've been lucky enough to talk to him a couple of times when he's lingered into my part, he's a pest most of the time, just moaning and talking to himself, I'm usually able to get rid of him just by telling him to go away, he's pretty harmless but when he appears suddenly it does get very irritating, especially when you're in the middle of an experiment and he floats in through the wall, muttering under his breath and you wind up blowing your eyebrows off."

Drajo found it hard to keep from laughing when Rorek told him this.

"How come I've got so many when so many other people don't even have one?

"You have so many because our soul is a warriors soul, that is it is more likely to be used to house the spirit of a warrior, keep in mind though even though our soul is more likely to house a warriors spirit that doesn't mean that it will always will"

Drajo opened his draconic mouth to ask his next question but Rorek interrupted him.

"Oh and before you ask, no Raven will not have any previous incarnations because she's half demon. Thankfully as so few half-demon hybrids have existed over the millennia a new soul has to be created for each of them as they are so far apart in time and when each of them dies their soul is abandoned as re-using it would corrupt the new spirit, the hybrids linger on in what you could call purgatory for all eternity. However in lieu of all the good Raven has done I think her soul will be re-used as long as her spirit can control her fathers evil essence."

Realising they had gone off the real matter at hand Drajo pressed on with his real questions

"Speaking of my sister how did Malchior get into her mind and what does he plan to do?"

"Do you remember when Malchior used a lock of Ravens hair in that spell to free him from the book as a paper man?"

"Yes what about it?"

"Well he did it as a failsafe if he was ever destroyed or put back in the book. He put a small part of himself inside Ravens mind; if he were ever defeated he would use that small part of himself to take over her mind. Fortunately Raven found out and locked him away but when she was knocked out in her last battle Malchior was given the opportunity to escape, an opportunity he took advantage of. He plans to take over Ravens mind by destroying her emotions, with no emotions Raven has no power and her mind will truly be his. If her mind falls her body will follow. With his stolen body and powers Malchior will reduce the world to ashes, sculpting a new one out of the ruins, one that he will rule with an iron claw for the rest of his days. And dragons live for a very long time."

Drajo just stood there horrified, he knew the stakes were big but he never thought that if he failed he would drag the world down with him to ruin. He asked the wizard his final question

"Can you help me defeat Malchior?"

"Honestly my friend I don't know, when I fought him I merely locked him away in that book, you need to destroy him and I don't know if that can be done, in case you haven't noticed Malchior is a dark dragon of incredible power, power that surpasses even mine. If you were to even think about taking him on you would need nothing less than Excalibur itself to even the odds"

Drajo lifted the sword of Azarath so Rorek could see it

"I don't have Excalibur but would the sword of Azarath be enough?"

Rorek's eyes lit up like a pair of blue suns

"With that sword we just may have a chance but I'll need to return with you for you to use it properly"

"A chance, that's it?"

"Yes we have a chance, albeit a small one but we must be thankful for even having that"

"What do I have to do for you to come back with me?"

"We'll have to merge spirits, to become one, then with your sword combined with mine and Ravens sorcery we may just have a chance of defeating the dark dragon once and for all"

Rorek walked to the middle of the room, next to the big table and indicated for Drajo to stand a few feet away from him. Rorek made a complex series of signs with his hands while muttering something in a language the dragon couldn't understand. A portal of pure white energy appeared between them, about the size and shape of a normal sized door. Rorek pointed to the portal.

"We must step into this portal at exactly the same time, if we don't then it won't work, O.K on the count of three we both step in. Ready? One, two three.

Drajo stepped into the portal, hoping he had got his timing right. A bright white light enveloped him, it's brightness blocking out all of his senses. After a few seconds the voice of Rorek ended his sensory depravation, the wizard was chanting in an ancient language but Drajo could actually understand it.

"In the name of Rorek of knoll, slayer of dragons, spirits heed this call, merge half unto half and make them whole"

A strong wind blew past Drajo, pulling him along, he felt an immense sense of pressure as something was forced down on top of him, the pressure turning to pain as though the object was literally forced into him, the wind turned to a howling gale dragging him along into the blinding light.

Drajo awoke from his trance in Ravens mind and slowly rose to his feet, pulling away from Raven and Arella, who backed away, breaking the circle.

"Brother did it work were you successful?" Rave asked as her spiritual brother opened his eyes, which were now bright blue instead of their usual vibrant yellow, he spoke in a voice which was not his own

"Yes fair maiden it seems so" Raven backed off from the person standing in front of her, unsure if he was still her brother, Drajos eyes turned back to their normal yellow colour

"I'm still here sister, I'm just not alone, look closely" Raven looked more closely at her brother, just behind him she could see the out line of someone, upon looking more closely she saw it was her brothers previous incarnation, the real wizard from the book, transparent like the phantom from the past that he was, he was….

"Rorek" she bowed her head in respect

"It's an honour to finally meet you"

The figure laughed and replied

"Look I told your brother and now I'm telling you, I've been here all along, you've just never noticed me" Raven asked the question that she'd been dying to ask since she learned of her brothers former identity

"Can you help us defeat Malchior?" the wizard sighed sadly

"Honestly I don't know, I don't know if he can truly be defeated, even with the sword of Azarath but I give you my word fair maiden that I will do all in my power to assist you"

Arella stepped next to Drajo and spoke to the trio (A/N that's Drajo, Raven and Rorek)

"I must go for Malchior draws near but Drajo before I leave there is one more thing I must give you, if you wish to be able to use the sword to it's full power". She rested her left hand on his head, just in front of his crest, her eyes glowing with white energy. He felt a warm feeling resonate from her hand and pass into him, after a few seconds she lifted her hand away and he touched the area with his taloned hand tried to feel what she'd put there, his hand felt something cold and smooth. He lifted the sword up to his head and using the blade as a mirror he saw what Arella had given him.

It was an Azarath jewel, dark red in colour, an identical copy of Ravens.

"Thank you Arella, now am I ready to face him?" Arella nodded and the high priestess addressed her champion.

"I have given you all the help I can to you, my champion, it is now up to you, I wish you luck and hope for you will need both in the battle ahead" with that she turned into her normal form of an emotion with a glittering purple cloak and faded from sight, leaving the three teens alone.

Suddenly they heard a crash behind them and saw Beast boy, Strength and Sadness with the two nightmares looming over them, the Drajo/Trigon nightmare looked up form his vanquished foes to his righteous copy, smiling sadistically he called to him

"I'll be there in just a minute Drajo, I've got something I need to finish.

"So have I" he turned to his sister

"I think it's time I tested my new powers" she nodded and he raised his sword and pointed it at the two and Rorek got into a fighting stance with his arms outstretched the runes on the sword began to glow with Rorek's white energy,

"ALLGERON, NECROMAN, MORTIX!" he cried in unison with Rorek, a bolt of bright white energy shot out form the sword and raced towards the nightmares, striking them with incredible force, the wind began to howl as the two nightmares were lifted into the air but only they were affected. Sensing their fate the two began to claw at the ground at their vanquished opponents, at anything that they could hold on to. The wicked scary nightmare failed to grab anything and was dragged away screeching by the wind into the distance. It's insane brethren however managed to grab Beast boy's belt with his left arm and hook Strength's belt of Azarath jewels with the stump of his right, hanging suspended in the whirlwind using the pair as an anchor he looked at Drajo again.

"Careful now Drajo, if you send me back these two get sent back with me and I don't think you want that on your conscience now do you?" Drajo snarled in frustration, once again his twisted, warped counterpart was holding all the cards.

"Don't let up I'll take care of him" Raven told him telepathically, she summoned the broken shards of glass to her with her dark energy she pointed her hand at the nightmare and sent the whirlwind of glass straight at him. The glass gale enveloped the nightmare and he screamed in pain, the glass reduced his four yellow eyes to red ruins of flesh. He let go of his hostages and clutched at his ruined eyes, as the whirlwind carried him off he somehow looked straight at Drajo with the red, shredded mess that passed for his eyes.

"THIS ISN'T OVER BOY, THIS ISN'T OVER!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, more in desperation then in determination.

"Yes it is" Drajo whispered as his insane counterpart disappeared over the horizon.

Cyborg raised his sonic cannon and gave the ogre another sonic blast in the face, apparently the nightmare wasn't amused and swung at the mechanical Titan with his rusty meat hook, he rolled out of the way but was a second too late, the hook scraped off his chest plate with a metallic ring, leaving a bloody scratch (the blood was already on the hook, as Cyborg is 85 machine I'm guessing he can't bleed).

The nightmare Terra sent a barrage of rocks straight at the alien princess, feeling righteous fury blazing within Star retaliated with a salvo of her starbolts, destroying all of the rocks bar one which she caught with her hands and using her alien strength she spun it round and sent it right back at the nightmare. The she-monster caught the rock squarely in the chest and was knocked to the floor.

The three emotions were trying desperately to crush the nightmare worm, psychically tossing everything bar the kitchen sink, their Titan allies and each other at it, despite it's size the worm was deceptively quick and managed to dodge almost everything that the trio threw at it, whenever it was hit all that happened was it was disorientated for a second leaving it open for a close up attack and the three would be too absorbed in throwing the next projectile to take any advantage of it's temporary distress.

Deciding to take it up as notch Headstrong summoned a sword of black energy and somersaulted through the air, landing next to the nightmare worm, temporarily immobilised by a lucky hit form a rock. With a backhanded slash she opened up a four-foot long hole in the beast's right flank, a stream of brown liquid and black worm guts came gushing out of the wound. Headstrong didn't know what would happen if the brown liquid touched her and she didn't want to find out. Rolling out of the way she saw her fear was well founded as the worms blood (or whatever you could call that brown goo) began to eat into the rock of the plateau and had created a sizeable hole within seconds.

Jealousy summoned a pair of sai's with her black energy and ran to assist her fellow emotion (for those of you not familiar with martial arts a sai is a three pronged fork-like weapon, the ninja turtles use them) while Humour stayed back to keep up the telekinetic bombardment. She heard Headstrong yell something but was too focused to pay attention, a few seconds later she wished she had when she felt something hit and latch on to her right shoulder, embedding itself right in, going as far as the bone. Whatever it was yanked on her shoulder and she cried out in pain as she was pulled backwards and landed near the nightmare worm. Upon looking up her cry of pain turned to a scream of pure terror when she saw that the worms proboscis was latched onto her shoulder with all the hooks embedded in the shoulder bone, all of its red jelly like eyes locked onto the pink-clad emotion and some of the orange acid it used to digest its prey ran down it's proboscis and dripped onto Humour's shoulder, quickly burning through the fabric and setting to work on the shoulder joint itself.

She closer her eyes, unwilling to watch herself getting digested. After a few seconds the burning went away and she couldn't feel anymore of the burning enzymes dripping onto her shoulder. Humour decided to open her eyes and se why she was still alive, what she saw shocked her. The worm was hovering in mid-air like it was caught in a vacuum, using the emotion as an anchor so it wouldn't get dragged away. Unsure of just what could be causing it she looked around, the ogre had drove its knife and meat hook into the ground and was holding onto the butchers tools for dear life. The nightmare Terra had constructed a cage out of pillars of rocks to hold herself in. Finally her gaze landed on the nightmare jewel itself. The black portal had turned to a bright white hole that was exerting some sort of vacuum effect although only the nightmares seemed to be affected and a stream of the lesser ones was going into the jewel, sending the miniscule nightmares back form whence they came.

Back at the council table Wisdom saw through the viewing portal that Drajo had managed to seal the nightmare jewel. She reached out to team one.

"Drajo has managed to make the nightmare jewel seal itself, you need to get all the nightmares inside, hurry there's not much time."

Cyborg nodded and once again raised his sonic cannon and sent a shot straight at the ogre, hitting the disgusting fiend right on the nose, it roared in pain and let go of its weapons turned grappling hooks to hold it's damaged nose, this caused to be caught up in the vacuum and be sucked into the nightmare jewel, it's weapons were wrenched loose from the ground and shot into the portal after their master.

Starfire took aim at the cage of rocks the nightmare Terra had created and blasted them with Starbolts, nightmare Terra just shook her horned head and swiftly called more earth up to replace the damaged bits. Just when the Tamaranian was about to loose hope she heard a high-pitched scream, a familiar enemy, the wicked scary nightmare came up towards the jewel, it was aiming straight at the cage of rocks the Terra nightmare had created. It began to screech at the onrushing nightmare in a language unknown to the alien but she got the idea the Terra nightmare was telling it's brethren to change it's course so it wouldn't hit the rock cage and drag her with it to limbo inside the jewel. The nightmare either didn't hear her or didn't care as it smashed into the cage like a freight train, shattering the rock pillars and grabbing hold of Terra, dragging the blond nightmare with it to oblivion.

With three of the powerful greater nightmares back inside it the jewels pull increased and the worm's proboscis began to pull on Humours shoulder, the pain was immense, ignoring the pain she summoned a set of throwing knives made of dark energy which she tossed at the worm, trying to hit it in the eyes so it would let go, each time it moved out of the path of the knife so the energy projectile either grazed it's flank or just plain missed it altogether. It seemed nothing could dislodge the worm from Humour until a evil, hate filled voice rode on the wind "THIS ISN'T OVER BOY THIS ISN'T OVER" and in the distance a speck could be seen, after a few seconds the speck grew larger it looked like Drajo, badly injured. Cyborg turned to Headstrong

"Uh what's Drajo doing? Isn't he on our side?" the emotion frowned

"He is, look it's a long story but that is one of Raven's nightmares, her worst one and we need to make sure he goes back inside the jewel."

As he got closer Cyborg and Starfire could see it was not the dragon but indeed some kind of nightmare as Headstrong had said. His skin was dark red, he had silver hair (remember the real Drajo doesn't have any but has that crest on his head instead) and he had injuries that would have killed anyone else, this coupled with the nauseating smell of burnt flesh and bone made it clear this was a creature that belonged in the nightmare jewel. Seeing the worm hanging on to Humour made the evil, twisted creature grow angry, why should his brethren escape when he was doomed? Angling his broken wing he glided close to the worm and latched onto it's rubbery flank with his remaining hand.

"If I can't live outside of the jewel, why should you?" he yelled, he then pushed the stump of his right hand into the hole he'd made in the worms flank, now able to move his taloned left hand he raised it above his head and drove it deep into the worms gut, his whole arm going in up to the shoulder. The worm let out a scream so terrible it chilled the souls of all who could hear it as it insane brethren tore out its heart. Pulling his arm out he raised his bloody trophy above his head and screamed in triumph. Humour felt the hooks digging into her shoulder relax as the worm died, after a few more seconds they grew so relaxed they simply slipped out and the dead nightmare and its fellow nightmare and killer, still holding his bloody prize above his head fell into the jewel, vanishing from sight. The white portal grew smaller and smaller as the jewel sealed itself.

The two Titans and three emotions stood there, an icy silence settled in. It was broken when a portal emerged and Wisdom stepped through, she spoke to the team.

"The jewel is once more sealed, Malchior no longer has his army to help him"

"That's good right, now we can beat him?" Cyborg asked the yellow clad girl who shook her head sadly,

"Alas no, your friend Robins team was unable to stall him for as long as was needed, even unleashing Trigon was not enough. Malchior now knows of our plan, he is currently heading to Raven's prison, Drajo was able to free her and beat Draconis"

"Draconis?" Cyborg asked.

"He is that charming creature who you just saw, he is the nightmare of what should happen if Drajo and Trigon were ever to merge into one body, for her father to become one with her brother, it's Raven worst nightmare and fear and because the union of dragon and demon is impossible to happen outside of her imagination Draconis has been driven mad by it. Malchior is now intends to kill Drajo and imprison Raven once more, if she sees her brother die it will break her and all hope will be lost."

"Well we need to get there right now, she need us" Wisdom shook her head

"No, this will be Raven and Drajo's fight, it will be a battle of magic, your technology is useless against Malchior, have you forgotten how easily he defeated you the last time you went against him?"

Cyborg shook his head, it still scared him how all his technology didn't harm the dark dragon." She gestured to the portal behind her,

"Come we must go, we will be able to watch from the council island." The team nodded and followed Wisdom back through the portal.

When they got there they saw Robin and the surviving members of his team, apparently Timid had retrieved them Robin was laid out on the table.

" Robin, what has happened to him?" Starfire cried

"Don't worry he took a pounding but he'll be O.K" Wisdom told her.

"That is if Raven and Drajo win, if they lose it won't matter what happens to him or any of us for that matter," she thought.

Back at the site of Ravens former prison Raven opened a portal and called Beast boy, Strength and Sadness over.

"Get out of here, once Malchior shows up you'll be more of a burden than a help," she said pointing at the portal.

"Why, I want to fight, I want to help you." Beast boy complained, Drajo walked over to him.

"If this was any other time I'd be honoured for you to fight with me but you must understand, this will be a magical battle, Ravens a sorceress and I'm a dragon, you won't be of any use and neither my sister or I want to see you get hurt so go." Best boy nodded and walked into the portal.

Back at the council he looked through the viewing portal, Malchior swooped in and landed on the edge of the island, Raven powered up her energy, Drajo grasped the sword of Azarath with both hands, Beast boy looked to Wisdom.

"Isn't there anything we can do?"

She smiled sadly

"All we can do is Pray, all we can do is pray".

To be continued, please review.
