--THE FIRST TEST--
So, they passed. This is to be my first team of genins: Naturo Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.
Two boys, and a girl to balance the group.
The top and bottom of their class, and one from the middle, for balance.
Two orphans, and one with a seemingly normal family.
The boys, I suppose, have a lot in common. No wonder they're fierce rivals.
Naruto fights for himself, to become the best of our village and overcome the ill-will and rumors that have followed him from birth. He is willing to do anything to fulfill his dreams of being the next Hokage, even if it leads him down the path of stupidity. He certainly is energetic.
Sasuke fights for his family, to restore his fallen clan and have his revenge against the man who brought them down. He is willing to do anything to gain the necessary strength to overcome those who could stand in his way, even if it makes him seem cold and arrogant in his solitary goal. He certainly is determined.
Sakura follows Sasuke around blindly, but she must not hate Naruto as much as she says, for they are capable of working together. I have no idea what's going on in her head as far as goals and dreams. I've never understood girls much anyway.
Who knows how long I'm going to be stuck with these children. They are eager enough, for selfish reasons, but they are so clueless and impossible to make understand anything without telling them directly. They have heart and some measure of purpose which will help on the way. I have to do what I can to knock some sense into them before they get killed.
Man, do I have my work cut out for me.
