Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN CSI! Why would you think that? WHY WHY WHY? Okay depressing moment over. On to the story.

Sara stood in line at Starbucks listening to the exotic music reverberating in the bad acoustics of the store while trying to look unimportant and insignificant like everyone else as she waited for someone to take her order. Suddenly, a voice behind her caught her attention.

"Melanie!" A woman said. Nobody responded, then Sara turned and realized the woman was talking to her. Sara looked confused, she'd never seen this woman before.

"Who?" Sara said,

"Melanie! It's you!" The woman hugged her, Sara didn't know what to do, "It's been so long… are you in town for the week?" The woman asked. Sara didn't know what to make of the situation.

"Yes, yes it has been a long time… look," Sara said, "I'm not Melanie… my name is Sara and I do not know you…" she explained. The woman looked embarrassed.

"Oh, of course… I forgot. I'm Faye… You know, from Harvard? I was in your class! Well it's been forever, I guess you don't recognize me…" Faye said. The sudden onset of that information intrigued Sara. Faye turned to leave.

"Wait!" Sara said suddenly, opening her purse and scribbling a number on a scrap of paper, "Look, I have to go to work… but here's my home number… call me sometime tomorrow, 'kay?" she said. Faye suddenly looked familiar but Sara couldn't place her. Or she could be completely mistaken. Did she know her? The name didn't ring a bell, but Faye's upbeat character and fast talking reminded her of someone. Vaguely.
