Intimacy

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

He sees how much they care, especially when fighting. Fighting, for them, is like sex – each boy (no, man…boy…man…he was too used to seeing them as twelve-year-old genin that he couldn't decide if they were, in fact, men yet) tries to dominate the other. The clinking of the kunai, the panting breaths, the rush of adrenaline – they are all aphrodisiacs. It is awkward, sometimes, to see them fighting so intensely. He feels he is intruding on some intimate moment, but then he sees that neither boy (yes, they are still boys) realizes what they feel. Sakura still watches, hands clasped in front of her chest to conceal the heart that beats tenderly only for Sasuke, unaware that his heart beats not for her.
