A School Without Kids

There is a school, but there are no kids in it.
No teachers, no janaters, no principils. No one is here.
I don't understand. Why are the classrooms empty?
I see faded figures, but no one is there.
I hear faded voices, but no one is speeking.
I wonder why these faded figures are talking to me.
Some sound like they want to help me.
Some sound like they want to hurt me.
Should I listen to them or just turn away?
Before the day is done, I leave the school without kids.
I turn my head to look back, but there is nothing there.
Was there a school there to begin with?
Or was it a figment of my imagination?
