Author's Notes: All I have to say is… high school sucks; it's boring and hard. And I'll probably zone out a lot. So expect more one-shots in the future. Many. Hopefully.

Disclaimer: Oh, how I'd love to own Kingdom Hearts. There would be more yaoi and smut, and you would definitely see more of Selphie and Tidus…maybe not Wakka.

Warnings: Slight shounen ai reference? Like, slight.

Summary: Selphie and Sora have a little chat, which is quickly disrupted. TidusxSelphie, minor RikuxSora

"Nothing to Do With You"

-- WhiteLightning

"Love."

"What?"

Selphie sighed at Sora's apparent hearing problem. "Love," she repeated.

Sora, confused, asked, "What does that have to do with the price of tea is China?"

Rolling her eyes, the girl began tugging at the ends of her brunette hair impatiently. "We weren't talking about tea, or China, or prices, we were talking about your argument with Riku," she stated matter-of-factly.

"Okay…" Sora watched his shoeless, sockless feet hanging off the dock, swinging and hovering above the water. "What does that have to do with my fight with Riku, then?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

"Um…no?"

Selphie stared at him like he had three heads or something, before throwing her arms up in defeat. "Argh! No wonder you and Riku always fight! You're so frustrating!"

Whipping his head around, he glared and opened his mouth to protest that it was not his fault, but ended up stopping before one syllable came out when he noticed Selphie was no longer there.

In her place stood a young boy with spiky, blonde hair and mischievous blue eyes, grinning like a maniac and looking intently at the water.

Sora followed his gaze to find his younger, female friend in the water below him, looking rather angry and flustered.

"Tidus!" she shouted, glaring at the blonde. "You…! You…!"

"Hottie?" he suggested, grin never leaving his face. "Yeah, I know. But thanks, anyway."

"No! I hate you!"

Extending his hand out to her, Tidus frowned. "Here. Let me help you."

The girl was suspicious, but accepted the offer anyway, grabbing the hand, allowing him to help her out onto the dock. "I still hate you," she told him, looking away and blushing when he didn't let go of her hand.

"Hey, I'm sorry. Now look at me."

Selphie complied, slowly turning her head towards him.

Tidus wiped a strand of dripping hair out of her face, smiling. "Don't be mad, it was just for fun," he said somewhat sadly, before pecking her lightly on her lips.

She stared, dumbfounded, unable to move of say anything until Tidus had already jogged off to play Blitzball with Wakka.

Glancing up at her, Sora wondered why she wasn't doing anything. "Selphie? …Are you okay?"

Selphie turned to him, a smirk on her face. "About your argument with Riku…"

"Yeah?"

"Do that."

Author's Notes 2: I hope you know that wasn't how it was supposed to go. At all. The RikuxSora-ness was supposed to be more apparent from the beginning, and Tidus wasn't actually supposed to come in. But this is just how it came out of my mind.
