Author's note: I found this when going through my old notebooks. I wrote this a LONG time ago, like in third grade. (when I first saw the movie…) I had done some research on the R.M.S. Titanic and found a lot of information. I decided to post it because I saw the Titanic exhibition in Las Vegas ( It's really cool… They set it up like you are on board…you get a passport and all….it's awesome…and depressing.) So Enjoy…No Flames please…Constructive criticism welcome…but do keep in mind…I wrote this when I was 9.
Tragedy? Unthinkable…..
She's the fastest ever built
Titanic… The ship of dreams
They believed her unsinkable
But nothing is ever as it seems
People went aboard
No Matter what the cost
Only four days, it seems
And all was lost
The captain made a move
A move, unfortunately too bold
A move that brought her to her fate
To the icy waters that were too cold
The passengers couldn't believe it
They wouldn't accept her fate
But until 2:20, April 15, 1912
They realized it was too late
So when they stop and dare to say
She was positively unsinkable
Maybe they should stop and think
Some tragedies indeed are unthinkable.
