The fall of Beacon didn't kill Ozpin after all, instead the secretive headmaster was rescued by his inner circle. Even with his life saved, the fall created new problems and made some of the old return with vengeance. Thankfully there are many hopeful souls to reintroduce stability to the world.

It was meant to be a quick easy mission, but in the end it wasn't. We all lost something, but when what is lost might not be as far gone as we thought. We just have to rebuild what was lost, because every rose has its thorn.

With knowing what they know from the Volumes, they will have to fight their way through the events to come and try to save as many characters as possible.

When Yang falls, its quiet. Calm. She did what she had to do. When Ruby and Blake fall, it's a jolt, a cold shock of horror that they didn't quite make it. When Weiss falls, it's almost with relief. Living or dead, she'll see them again. When Jaune falls, he thinks of his team, of one more letter knocked off of Team JNPR. When they wake up, they're at Beacon. Fix-it fic after V8.
