Title: A Wall is a Wall

Author: Fuji S. Yuki

Pairing: FujiRyo

A wall is a wall. A floor is a floor. The water is deep but there is a bottom for sure. These were certain things that Ryoma knew about but he couldn't understand the chestnut haired boy in front of him. No matter how many times he tried to figure the other out he end up finding more annoying questions.

Pride has always factored into Ryoma's life. He knew how to speak and write English if anything bugged him, he just ignore it however when one was being pelted by rain it was unlikely one could ignore it just as easily in fear of getting sick.

Fuji of course would whisper softly that it was fine to get wet. Even though there was a double intrigue it was something that wonder-boy tries to ignore.

So the game went on the constant bantering in English that the tennis regulars would try to depict but only those like Tezuka and Oishi who were efficient in English versus to those like Kikumaru and Momoshirou would understand. Yet there were times when both would not comprehend the double meanings being passed between their freshman wonder boy and the mysterious tensai of Seigaku.

Interpretations were given and some were ignored in hopes that this phase would drift away once both grew bored. They never thought it would escalate into a full grown battle between the two let alone the tension that would crackle like thunder beyond the skies of heaven.

Until one certain day the two stopped out of no where. Those around them felt uncomfortable by the silence that existed no longer were there any movement of any indication from the two but there was a certain undercurrent that flow. Making those aware that danger grew near and that soon a storm would be upon them.

It didn't hit suddenly rather it crawled on for close to three weeks. Tension in the club ran high from the strange co-existence of the two. The world did not revolve around them but they were part of the center of Seigaku's tennis club and it was felt. The uncertainty and then slowly it grew until one bright sunny afternoon the motion of time snapped forward like a rubber band. No one could clearly say who started it but in the end the two started to make out on the farthest court against the fence.

Club members were shocked and shouts from the Captain of Seigaku rang loud and clear. Those that were clever enough stayed far clear of the storm in hopes to shelter their pale little minds from the great battle that would occur. In the end those that came from classroom duties saw all of the regulars on the floor missing only two and those of the club were frozen like ice.

It took several more weeks for the recovery except the prince and his tensai whom were quite talkative. Well rather Fuji was talking and Ryoma was just making noises in response but we shan't go into much detail since this is the end of the tale.
