Another short that I wrote a bit back. Apologies for not posting it up earlier.
Because of love
"I'd like you to see if you can make something out of this, granted that you are such an excellent seamstress."
He had, very suavely, invited her into his house after school that day for tea, and placed a box in her hands thereafter as she was seated. She stared at the large flat box now in her lap, curious.
"You want me to make a dress out of the box?" she asked, teasingly.
He merely raised an eyebrow. Letting out a peal of laughter, she took the lid off and stopped short.
"What's this, Hiiragizawa-san?" Carefully, she lifted the material out. Azure blue flowed through her hands, spilling over, and back into the box, shining as though it were crystal hit by sunlight.
"It is exquisite, is it not?" He smiled, watching the way she moved her hands through the cloth, smoothing it out, and examining it in detail. A moment later, she looked up, an odd look in her eyes.
"Who made it"?
"Yours truly," he answered, voice level, before taking another sip of tea.
"What is it made of?"
Leaning back in his chair, Eriol Hiiragizawa's eyes twinkled as he looked at her over the rim of the teacup.
"Don't you know, Tomoyo? It's made of love."
Reviews are always welcome. Thanks.
