Kimiko threw her phone across the grass. Her boyfriend of four years had just broken up with her for her supposed friend Keiko. She winced as her phone conected with a tree. Great now she would have to get a new one.
She sank to the ground and started crying. She loved this boy with all her heart and he said that she was in love with someone else. That wasn't completely a lie. She was in love someone else but wasn't sure if he loved her back.
Kimiko sat outside for a good hour before anyone came to look for her. Just her like, it was Raimundo. He had heard her crying and came to see what was wrong with her.
"Hey Kimiko, are you alright?" Rai asked.
Kimiko shook her head hard.
"He broke up with me. Scott broke up with me for my supposed friend Keiko." Kimiko said.
She pointed to her phone at the base of a tree. Rai winced. He didn't know what to do, so he did the first thing that came to his mind. He put his arms around her and hugged her. She leaned on him and cried into his chest.
"Why Kim, why did he break up with you?" Rai asked.
"He said I was in love with someone else and that Keiko was more of a true girlfriend then I could ever be." Kimiko said.
"That's not true. You would never do that to a person. You're to sweet to hurt someone like that." Rai said.
"But that's the thing he's right. I do love someone else. I'm just not sure if he loves me back or not." Kimiko said.
Rai looked at Kimiko in shock.
"Who?" Rai asked.
Kimiko was silent. She didn't know if she could tell him. It was Raimundo she loved after all. She guessed she couldn't feel any worse then she did now if he rejected her.
"You" she said.
Rai was shocked once again. Kimiko loved him. And he loved her back.
"I love you too." Rai said.
"Really?" Kimiko asked in disbeilf.
Rai nodded. Kimiko smiled and leaned into Rai. He held her tightly, calming her and protecting her. Right at that moment, Kimiko and Rai, both felt as if they were the only people in the world.
Until, Dojo came to find them.
"Hey there you two are. Master Fung wants to see us all now." Dojo said.
"Alright Dojo. We'll be right there." Rai said.
Dojo nodded and left.
"Come on, Kim. Master Fung calls." Rai said.
"Ok, if we have to. But we come back after." Kimiko said.
"Deal. Now come on, before we get in trouble." Rai said.
Rai and Kimiko stood up and went into the temple. When they got to Master Fung, Clay and Omi were already there. As was Dojo, but he hardly ever left Master Fung's side so that was to be expected.
"Raimundo, Kimiko. Good. Now we can get started. Chase Young has gotten his hands on a very powerful weapon and plans on using it to destroy the temple. There is no way to stop this wepon, so you dragons must flee to a safe place. If I make it I will join you. But if myself and the other Monks should fail, it is up to you four to take on the challange of destying Chase and his army before they take over the world." Master Fung said.
Omi was about to say something but Master Fung raised his hand.
"Ask no questions young monk. Just leave the temple with the Shen Gon Wu and be safe." Master Fung said.
The four Wudi warriors bowed and ran for the vault. Rai took Kimiko's hand and held it tightly as they ran. He wouldn't leave this time. Now he had a reason to stay. He had to protect Kimiko. Kimiko looked at Rai and saw the stern look on his face.
"Are you alright, Rai?" Kimiko asked.
"A little scared but yeah I'm fine." Rai said.
"I'm scared too. Are you gonna leave this time?" Kimiko said.
"No cause now I have you to look after." Rai said.
