Hi! This is my very first fanfic of Spiral. Enjoy the story.

Chapter 1
It has been quite some time since the blade children were in action to cause harm and damage. After the last time where Narumi Ayumu fought with Kanon to save his beloved sister-in-law, Madoka, things were all back to normal…Rio, Kousuke, Ryoko, Eyes even Kanon have returned back to their normal lifestyle.
Everything seems so peaceful lately...
As nothing "mysterious" is happening lately, ayumu don't really have to ponder over anything. Thus, he set aside whatever things that is unnecessary (e.g hunters, blade children) and focus on his studies, now that the mid-year examinations are approaching…Moreover, he thought over what Madoka told him after everything have ended…: " Ayumu, now that everything has ended, being your sister, I truly hope that you would focus on your studies rather than helping me in solving mysteries. Your studies and your future should be your first priority…Don't worry about kiyotaka, I will continue to search for him…" Onee-san is right…anyway, I am gone back to being a nearly-normal teenager in a normal Japanese high school. Well…,its time to work REAL hard…
"The results are out! Come on, let's go and take a look" Students crowded over the noticeboard, anticipated to look at their performance. Ayumu, however, took his time to stroll to the noticeboard. "hey Narumi-san! On your way to check your results?" "Nn.." he replied to the bubbly Hiyono. "Ummm…its strange actually…because narumi-san doesn't seem to care about his studies last time…Well.., perhaps you have changed…now that things are more peaceful…ah, the results of the second-years are on the other side. Catch up with you later narumi-san!" "Nn.." As he approach the noticeboard, the rest of the first-years focus their eyes on him…He was rather used to this sort of treatment by his peers, since he always got himself involved in trouble in school…This time, however, they stared at him for a different reason..He looked up at the results being displayed. Hmmm…Narumi Ayumu…Narumi Ayumu…ah..there it is…huh! He stared blindly at his name on the results.. "how did you do for your exams Narumi-san?" said Hiyono excitedly as she squeezed her way through the first-years. 'how is it Naru….AH! You top the whole level Narumi-san! Wow! your score was 698 !" shouted Hiyono… "Narumi Ayumu san, come with me" said a teacher behind the crowd. "Yes, sir"
They stepped into the counsel room. "Take a seat, Narumi-san.." Let me guess…are they going to punish me for cheating or altering my marks, thought Ayumu..now that he is "immune" to such blames and punishments… "Well well Narumi-san, I must say that you have put in more effort in your studies than before. I believe you have not cheat your way through during the exams. Your other subject teachers as well as me myself are wondering if you want to skip a level. That is, to join the second-years after your summer holidays. Your other teachers and I felt that academically, you have the potential to take a step higher than your peers. Would you want to consider?" "It's fine with me",replied Ayumu promtly . "oh, if that's the case, I will bring this up to the rest of the staff. We will make the necessary arrangements…you may leave now"
He sigh as he step out of the room.
