There are some major HBP spoilers so beware! Also Harry never dates Ginny.
Crossing the Gryffindor common room Harry didn't make eye contact. He flung himself up the stairs and opened the door of the dormitory. As he had hoped Ron was waiting for him. The pair were both slightly red-eyed and stared at each other for a long moment.
"So," began Ron rather nervously. "Dumbledore's really…ummm… really…"
Harry knew Ron couldn't quite bring himself to say it. As though if he did it would make it final.
"Dead. Yes." Harry spat the word out like he was talking about a foul loathsome creature.
He sat down next to Ron on his bed and put his head in his hands. He couldn't bear it. The longer he lived the more people Voldemort took away from him. Harry was starting to worry that it might be Ron or Hermione next.
"It's not your fault you know. You couldn't have done anything. He died for you. Just like your parents." Ron whispered edging nearer.
Harry looked up at his best friend not bothering to hide his tears. But Harry needn't have worried, as Ron was considerably wet himself.
"I know." Harry sniffed. Ron put his arm round his best friend.
"You'll always have me you know." Ron said. Harry leaned against Ron thankful that he had his best friend.
Harry looked up for a second, his nose barely an inch from Ron's. He considered moving away, but felt it was right to do the opposite.
His lips brushed with Ron's, both boys sniffing slightly.
Harry tried to break the kiss but Ron refused to let him go, instead deepening the kiss by requesting entry with his tongue.
Neither of them broke away until absolutely necessary
"Feel better?" Asked Ron.
"A little," Harry smiled in spite of his tears.
