"Can you read my mind?" Daine asked.
She struck up so many sad memories. I wish I could have read Orzone's mind, and my parent's as they died. It is so horrifying, yet the prospect enchants me, as a scholar. As a human being, I would never want my mind probed! Never! My thoughts are private, and I wish for them to be kept that way! Every one must feel the same way! Why does she even ask?
Numair smiled sadly and shook his head, making her wonder what his secrets were.
