Just a little fluffy (and crappy :P) Halloween fic for you all. Even though this won't show up on the site until after Halloween's over…o well.!
Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I don't own any of this L
"Hurry up Daddy! We have to leave so we can get the good candy!" cried a four year old Erica Bing. Her twin brother, Jack, chimed in, "Ya, we don't wanna be left with all the yucky stuff!"
It wasn't the twins' first Halloween, but they were very excited all the same. Erica was dressed as a pink and glittery fairy, and Jack as Spider Man.
"Don't worry, it's only 6:00, guys!" reassured Chandler, who had reluctantly put on a pirate costume. He was taking the twins out trick or treating, while Monica stayed home to hand out candy.
"Only! We're wasting valuable time here!" said Jack. His parents smiled at his mature way of speaking.
"All right, let's go then," Chandler said.
"YAAAAAAAAY!" the twins cried. They grabbed their little trick or treat bags and ran out the door, pushing and shoving to be the first out.
"Yay I win!" Jack yelled, running out the door, and accidentally knocking over the Jack O Lantern.
"Oopsies" Jack said in a small, innocent voice.
"It's allright," Chandler said, reaching down and setting the pumpkin upright again.
"Good thing we used a flashlight instead of a candle," he muttered to Monica, who smiled. Then Chandler set off to trick or treat with the twins. Once they were out of sight, Monica stepped outside and fixed up her Halloween display to make it perfect again.
Meanwhile, Chandler the pirate was sprinting down the sidewalk in an effort to keep up with the twins.
"WEEEEEE It's Halloween!" they shouted to everyone they saw. Then they ran up the driveway to the first house.
"Wait up, guys!" Chandler panted as he finally made it up the driveway after them.
The rest of the evening went much the same way as this, the twins getting progressively more and more excited as they collected more candy. Finally, Chandler managed to drag them home, convincing them that they'd collected more candy than anyone else in their Junior Kindergarten class would have.
"Mommmeeeeee we're home!" Erica and Jack yelled as they burst in the front door of the house.
"Hi, how was trick or treating?" Monica asked, coming down the stairs. The twins proceeded to burst into an inaudible stream of chatter, at the same time dumping out their candy to show their mom.
Just then a moan was heard…it was Chandler, collapsed on the front bench, exhausted.
"Aw, are you tired, sweetie?" Monica asked, going over to her husband and wrapping him in a romantic hug.
"Not too tired for you," Chandler said with a smile. Monica smiled back and kissed Chandler, before they both settled back to watch their two beloved children happily sorting through their candy.
