Christine's Choice

Pass the day,

End the night.

The old day is gone.

The world starts anew,

But which one do I choose?

I have to make a choice,

Between two lives I cannot be coy.

Days in the dark

I have made my choice.

My life is chosen now.

Author's notes

A song written and composed in early 2004 for a play presented as part of the Teacher's Day celebrations. My best friend was inspired to do a musical play of 'The Phantom of the Opera' after listening to the soundtrack from the stage musical by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. Inspiraton struck and this is the result.
