Hey everyone! This story is not my first on here, I actually had a Buffy fanfic but deleted it shortly after creation because I just didn't like it. I think my writing has changed drastically from what it once was and hope you enjoy my story here. Reviews would be greatly appreciated! -

DISCLAIMER: I do not, nor will I ever own Inuyasha or any of it's characters, they are property of Rumiko Takahashi. Plus if I owned them do you really think I would be going on with this mindless drabble? I didn't think so

Chapter 1 Please No

The rain beat at her face, legs, and arms as she ran through the forest, tears mixing with the water splashing down upon her. 'No, he couldn't have. He wouldn't. Not now, oh Kami please no.' The girl with the ink black hair and brown eyes thought over and over.

She could still picture them locked in each other's arms in a gentle, loving embrace as she watched on in horror wondering why in God's name did he still love her. Inuyasha had, fifty years ago, been in love with the miko Kikyo, who was also the protector of the Shikon no Tama at the time. But Onigumo, who turned into Naraku, pitted them against one another causing Kikyo to attach Inuyasha to the God tree for fifty years, while she died of an injury and later was brought back to life with a clay body.

And Inuyasha, who had at first tried to kill Kagome, had stolen her heart all the same. And now this, this disgust has come to being! He still loved Kikyo. And nothing, not anything Kagome did could make him change his mind. And this had been the last straw for her also! Never again would she be his shard detector, never again would she cook ramen for him, and never again would she love him! Never...

But this also meant she wouldn't be able to see Sango, Miroku, or Shippo again. That meant losing two of her best friends and a child she had come to think of as her own. Maybe she should turn around and run back to them even if it meant acting like Inuyasha had not been with Kikyo this night. 'No!' Kagome yelled at herself, 'I can't go back not ever! Not after he betrayed my trust! Not if I can't be with him.' She thought as she collapsed onto the forest floor, tears falling from her eyes uncontrollably.

'Maybe it would be best if I just died, if I just disappeared and never came back again. I'm sure no one would really miss me, except maybe my family and friends. But Shippo has Sango and Sango and Miroku have each other. I guess I'm not really needed. I'll just stay here and let my life drift away, that's it, let myself go to a better place.' Were Kagome's last thoughts as the night's sightings and actions finally took hold of her body and mind, and she fell into a deep abyss.
