Lessons To Be Learned
Tai woke up. It was a Friday morning, and…. "OH SHIT! I'M GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL" he screamed. Hurrying, got dressed, grabbed a vector bar, (they were GROSS, but he had to eat quickly) and ran out the door. He liked his walks to school. They always were calm ones. Across from his house, there was a small bit of forest, which he always went through. He had his own little shortcuts, which were all memorized by heart. He could almost walk through the forest blindfolded. As he approached Prima Vista High school, he saw Jessie Slingman. Jessie was a really bulky guy who always liked to tease Tai. There was never a day that passed where Jessie did not make fun of Tai one way or another. However, today, Ms. Necron walked by, so Jessie could do nothing. Tai followed Ms. Necron, so that he would not have to Deal with Jessie.
Math was his first class, which Ms. Necron taught. She was so passionate about math. Tai guessed that, that was the reason that he liked it. As Jessie walked in, he saw Tai, and yelled "You managed to get by me now, but I'll get you after school Tai!" ABSOLUTELY NOT SLINGMAN" Ms. Necron bellowed. Tai, I'll drive you home today. Jessie, you get to pay a visit to the office after school. "Shithead" Jessie said under his breath.
The day went by slowly, but finally, the Bell rang, and it was time to get home. Tai went back to room 009, where Ms. Necron was waiting. "Hello Tai! I'll just be one moment. Oh! And there are some Nanaimo bars over there! Help yourself!" she pointed to the table beside her desk. As he went over to the table, he noticed some odd white glassy orb. It was glowing. He hadn't seen it in the classroom before. "Ms. Necron, what is this orb-thing?" He asked. She looked up. "Oh, that? I found that while scuba diving in the Carribean. It used to be part of something in a really ancient town called…. You know what – the name of the place completely slipped my mind now. Anyways, there is a legend that it can warp people to some other place if that person is in trouble." She explained. Oh, Come along Tai, were leaving! "Ok!" Tai chimed happily. He and Ms. Necron then left the classroom. On their way, they passed the office, and in the window, they could see Jessie being lectured by the principal of the school. He did NOT look in a good mood. Finally, Jessie was getting his just desserts!
