I don't own Gilmore Girls or Someone Like You. Someone Like You is by Sarah Dessen and ASP owns Gilmore Girls. This story is a lit and is very alternative universe. Paris and Rory are best friends. Then Tristian, Rory's boyfriend dies and everything changes. Will become lit.
Someone Like You
Chapter 1
I sighed. I was exhausted. I hated when I stayed out late. I hated when I had to come here. I hated everything about my week in the Hampton's. It was the one time; I was never able to do anything fun without Rory without feeling bad. I hated it. And so you can imagine when my cell phone rang how pissed off I was.
"Who the hell are you and why are you calling me at two a.m.?" I growled.
"Paris it's Rory." She said quietly.
"What's wrong?" I asked tiredly.
"It's umm…its Tristian…he's uh…" Rory started.
"What?" I replied groggily.
"He's umm…oh what the hell…he's dead Paris." Rory cried.
"Dead?" I whispered quietly. This was shocking. I had known Tristian all my life. It had only been this year though, that he had been a major part of my life. Rory had started dating Tristian this summer. It hadn't been very expected. I was actually shocked. Rory had always found him arrogant…rude. And then this summer everything changed.
Flashback
"I can't believe I actually have to go to work with Tristian." Rory mumbled.
"Well you did apply to work there…" I pointed out.
"I know, but I didn't know he'd be there." She whined.
"Well it's too late to back down now." I told her.
"I know. I should probably hang up and go to work." Rory said.
"Yeah, okay call me if you need to." I said.
"I will." Rory whispered and then hung up. I didn't hear from her, until nine o'clock that night.
"Paris you wouldn't believe how excellent my first day at work was." Rory yelled excitedly.
"No I probably won't, considering you didn't want to go to work at all." I mumbled.
"It was astonishing. Absolutely fantastic. Tristian is actually really nice." Rory said.
"Shocking." I mumbled.
"I know isn't it? He shared his lunch with me." I could tell by her voice. Rory was smiling.
"You like him." I told her.
"No I don't." Rory said, and the conversation had ended shortly afterwards. But Rory had liked him, because by July 5, 2001 they were officially a couple. Rory fell head over heals.
End Flashback
"Yeah." Rory whispered.
"Does Lorelai know?" I asked.
"What kind of question is that?" Rory replied.
"Your right. I'm sorry." I tell her.
"Paris?" Rory asks.
"Yeah?" I reply.
"Can you come home?" Rory asks hesitantly.
"Yes." I whisper.
"Thank you." Rory says.
"It's no problem." I tell her.
"Are you sure?" She asks.
"I already said yes didn't I?" I ask.
"Are you sure your mom won't mind?" Rory asks quietly.
"It doesn't matter. I can drive." I tell Rory.
"Paris…" Rory warns. Rory hates the fact that I don't talk to my mom. She doesn't get that unlike her and her mother's relationship, most mother-daughters don't have the perfect relationship. And Rory always tries to get me to talk to my mom. Even though I know she does it, because she cares about me, it still bothers me.
"It'll be fine." I insist.
"Paris…" She repeats.
"Go to bed it's late, okay?" I ask.
"But…" She starts.
"I'm fine." I answer her unspoken question.
"Okay. See you later." Rory replies and hangs up.
I pack my bags. Left a note for my mother. And got into the car, because when your best friend needs you. Your there, no matter what.
AN: I don't think there are any other stories like this. This is just the beginning; it will become better as it goes on. So review and keep reading. Thanks- writerchick15
