Snowblind and Kole were awesome! Happy belated Halloween everyone!

I got the Halloween thing off other fics... don't kill me!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Staring dismally out her window, she watched as the three Titans disembarked off their island. Yes, three. She was stuck with another, who was sick with a pitiful fever. As more of an explaination, they were on Halloween patrol. Since she was a half-demon, and Halloween had something to do with her blood. Apparently, her powers were cut off for the day.

"AACHOO!"

She bit back a snicker as a neigh echoed through the hallways. "Raven!" Floating down the hallways, Raven reached the medical bay, where a pale and sickly Beastboy lay. Snatching a tissue box from the counter, she placed it on his bedside. "Thanks..." He murmured. She nodded curtly, and turned to leave, before, "Wait..."

Turning around, she raised a thin eyebrow. "Yes?"

"Staying here by yourself has it's-"

"Achoo!" Pop! Into a koala. Pop! Back into himself. Sniffle. "Downsides. No one to talk to. And I'm to dizzy to play video games.. or read."

Feeling a small pang of sympathy, she sat on a chair and raised a hand to his forehead. However, she withdrew it immidiatly. He was burning up. "Is that normal?"

His tired eyes lifted to the ceiling, as if trying to see his forehead. Sniffle. "I'm not unconsious, so yeah, guess so."

She sighed, and an uncomfortable silence followed. "Achooo!" He tumbled out of the bed as a cat. Poping back into himself, he tried to get up, but simply fell back. "Oww.. my head..." He groaned. Eyes wide, she rushed over and hauled him up and back into the bed. She was slightly suprised at his weight.

"You're so light, you know that?"

"Atleast I'm not too over weight.."

Another silence followed, before... "I never liked Halloween."

Looking at Beastboy curiously, she picked up the thread of the conversation. "Why? I always thought you liked it."

He shrugged as best as he could in his bed. "I guess because..." He trailed off, staring at her strangely. She returned the intense gaze, unintentionally moving closer...

"Aachooo!" He yelped, sneezing (Luckily) on the other side of the bed. Effectively ruining the moment, too. Poping back into himself (After having turned into a parrot), he repositioned himself on the bed. Drawing back quickly, with a slightly red face, Raven pulled her hood over her face. What was with these silences?

"Beastboy, why do you not like Halloween?"

He answered reluctantly. "You dress up as something creepy, right? When I was trick-or-treating with some kids from the orphanage in England... after my powers... all I had to do was go as myself..."

She knew what he ment. "Halloween wasn't something I explored. All I know is that my powers are withdrawn from me."

Silence. It was awfully hard to talk to him, for some odd reason.

"Hey Rae?"

"Mmm..."

"Thanks for talking to me."

"You're welcome."

"GUYS! WE'RE BACK! RAVEN, YOU DIDN'T KILL BEASTBOY, DID YOU?"

Beastboy yelped, startled. "Woah, was that bizzare timing, or what?"

Raven looked equally ruffled. "Yeah. I'll be checking on the rest of the Titans, so can you handle being alone?"

He rolled his eyes. "Two minutes? Sure. It's not like the silence will kill me."

She gave a genuine smile and a laugh before walking away. And closing the door behind her, she saw his eyes widen and mouth curve into a great smile.

Heh, Halloween wasn't so bad.
