Yuffie wiped the window so she could see out of it. Fog clouded the window and slowly began to refog the window. She stared coldly as she watched the people of Wutia as she passed them. Yuffie then looked back to her chest where she kept a small locket shaped as a heart from her past.

I still remember the world
From the eyes of a child
Slowly those feelings
Were clouded by what I know now

Yuffie slowly picked at the locket with her fingernails and broke it open. She looked at the two small pictures inside. One- a miniature picture of the AVALANCHE team back nearly five years ago. The other one was a picture of two men that she knew only too well. Vincent Valentine and Reno Kindelle.

Believing in everything and knowing nothing at all

She could remember those days when she still loved and trusted, completely naïve. Of course how she would trade those days for all her fame and power she had now. Yuffie shook her head to herself and closed the locket. She refused to feel sad. She took a deep breathe and looked forward.

Somehow it seems colder now

Yuffie's limo stopped, they were finally at the palace. The door opened, and a young man held out his hand to Yuffie. She took it coldly, and got on her feet. She looked around, and shivered. It was always cold out here, surely by now she should have gotten used to it. But ever since Reno broke her heart…

Vincent had just broken her heart for the first time ever. The memory was still fresh. It seemed like yesterday, she was standing in the cold rain and on time Reno came outside. He had talked to her and kissed her… made her feel… wanted? It was all fake anyways. She should have known that. But she didn't She became close until she saw him on another girl drunkenly. Disgusting. She walked out, and never saw him after that. Heartbroken.

"Lady Yuffie, shall we go inside? The doctors are waiting." The man said impaciently. She shook her head, shook her head from her thoughts and back to reality.

"Yes, we shall."
