Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. Jk totally pwns me
It was a dreary day on Number 4 Privet Dr. Rain splattered on the grass and other various plants, promising them nourishment for another day. Upon all this a boy sat on top of his bed looking out across the window. He sighed and pushed himself off the bed, running his hand through his raven tresses as he looked out the window once more.
As young Harry Potter took in the calming affects of the rain, he did something he probably never really done before. He analyzed his situation. As he looked back on Sirius's death, he felt his heart clench. He knew it was mostly his fault. If he hadn't looked into Snape's pensive, or listened when Hermione told him that it was a trap, or… 'No' He thought to himself. What happened was passed him; there were mistakes that everybody made him, Snape, and Dumbledore too.
When Harry thought of the name Dumbledore anger suddenly rose up from him, but he squashed it before it could take over him. He had felt a lot of displeasure about Dumblore not telling him everything, however he understood his reasoning. If Dumbledore would have told Harry about the prophecy when he was 11 or so, he wouldn't take it in to well. Hell, Harry was still coming to terms with the prophecy now, even after two months into summer vacation. He forgave Dumbledore, every one made mistakes.
In the end Harry reflected that everybody could have done something better. If he stood there and wallowed in self-pity, Sirius would come from his grave and kicked his ass. He knew he would get over Sirius's death, but he would never forget him.
Harry stood there, looking out to the pouring rain and smiled as tears ran down his checks. He wasn't crying tears of sorrow; he was crying tears of happiness now Sirius was in a better place. Sirius was for now and forever more free.
