The Prophecy
Sesshomaru was walking through his library, looking for something, but something caught his eye. It was obviously an old scroll, as Sesshomaru took it off the shelf he recognized his father's writing, and so he took it to his study to read later, he had more pressing business to attend to than this old scroll.
When Sesshomaru finally got around to reading his father's scroll he found that it was a prophecy which read:
In Japan's darkest hour,
He will complete what was once lost,
The object that could destroy the world with just one wish.
The object which would grant its owner unlimited power.
He will desire what He cannot have,
And ultimately destroy what He wants the most,
Until She comes again, only to be split in two,
The First and the Second, as different as yin and yang,
Two halves of the same, and fall in love with that which She sealed
Before Her death, only to unseal Him.
The two are an unlikely couple,
The Hanyou and the Miko.
They will be joined by the Orphan, and one who is Cursed.
When they finally meet the Fifth and the Sixth, they will be complete.
The Six who will along with their allies defeat Japans greatest evil.
The allies are as unlikely as the Six.
A Wolf, a Inu Taiyoukai, and two of the evils own
Who will turn against their creator, the Void and the Wind.
Ultimately the evil will be expunged along with the Miko who sides with him,
The fates have decreed it.
All will contribute, but the First who shares a soul with Midoriko, will be the one to give the death blow to the evil,
The Fifth and Sixth will be reunited with a lost comrade,
The First will be whole, and loved by the Second
The Orphan will receive a family,
And the Cursed will no longer be so, but gifted, as He will no longer have to fear his curse…
And Japan can sleep easy once more under the protection of the Six.
The First will once again be reunited with Her family,
And all will protect Japan for eternity.
At the end of the scroll there was a note which to Sesshomaru's surprise was addressed to him.
To my son Sesshomaru,
If you are reading this then I have passed on before I could tell you myself. As you know I had a second sight, and I was the one to write this prophecy. You must seek your younger brother Inuyasha and ally yourself with him. As you both along with the northern prince are mentioned in the prophecy. You will understand in time, also the evil will attempt to harm Rin…
Sesshomaru stopped reading shocked that his father would know that he would have a human ward, let alown what her name was, none the less, he continued reading:
You are probably shocked that I know your human ward's name, but even I do not know how I know this, I just do. Protect her well, for you both will live long into the future, but not to worry about that now, you must find your brother immediately as the Finial Battle will occur shortly, and you will be needed there.
