Things I'll Never Say
Prologue
Ashley lay on her bed letting the thoughts of the previous night fill her mind. If you would've told her 4 days ago that she would have spent the night with Aiden and a girl from Ohio, she probably would have asked what've been smoking. Ashley Davies world was changing. She felt attracted to Spencer and that wasn't the normal type of girl she would go for, but still Spencer had that good girl, never been kissed type of thing going on.
'I can't believe I went to a school dance', Ashley said putting her hands to her face thinking about how she told the school her history. Yes, she had gotten pregnant by Aiden, and no she didn't have an abortion, she lost it. She lost the only thing that scared the hell out of her, but at the same time made her heart feel whole. She let her hands travel to her belly and let it rest on the flat surface. She closed her eyes as tears rolled down her cheek. She could have loved the baby, and she could have been a great mom, and Aiden would've been an amazing dad.
Aiden Dennison was in his backyard letting out all his frustrations and confusion, doing the thing he did best, shooting hoops. As he dribbled the ball he started reliving the night before, it was a pretty awkward night. It started of as always with him and Madison fighting, and ended with his ex-girlfriend and the hot new girl. Not a bad way to end a night Aiden smiled as he took a shot. Spencer, that was a thing of pure beauty, he thought even though her brother was the biggest ass of all time, it didn't take any of her appeal. Actually it kind of added to it. Kind of the forbidden lust type of thing. Aiden kind of almost felt bad for talking about Spencer like that, but what he's normal guy hormones are normal. It wasn't like he felt bad about talking about Spencer because of Madison. Aiden laughed as he rebounded a shot he missed. Madison that bth was just the biggest pain in the a he'd ever met. It's a mystery to him why he puts up with her crap. She's his only girlfriend he has had besides Ashley
Him and Ashley, that relationship was really deep. He loved the girl with all his hearts and just seeing her every day made his heart feel hollow. That night talking to her and being close to her, it took all of his self control not to take her by the arms and yell at her asking her how the hell could she do that to him. And bringing up the baby, oh my gosh the baby, that killed Aiden. That night is still fresh in his mind. Ashley had called him crying and he couldn't understand a word she was saying and when he finally did, he didn't want to. He could remember saying he would be at the hospital as soon as possible and hanging up the phone. He had leaned against the wall and cried, cried for him, cried for Ashley, and cried for their baby. Tears came to Aiden's eyes as he remembered that night he took a final shoot and left without even looking to see if the shot went in.
