Disclaimer: I don't own anything of Cowboy Bebop, so don't sue me, I'm still a minor.

This is for The Real Gundam Operative, who requested that I do another poem, a follow-up. True that he/she did this over a year ago, and I'm SORRY! I've tried to take it the direction that I'd wanted, but somehow the words wouldn't…work. It just came out wrong. (And, of course, school got in the way.) This came out in the process, in a different style, inspired by a well-known image from the anime. If you're still following this, consider this a poor apology while I try once more to weave the words together.

Redemption

Bitter rain falls upon my face

Drenching my clothes, my hair

But I cannot tear my eyes away.

You are still walking

Walking among the raining droplets

On the dark and shining street,

Raindrops falling from your fingertips

Like tears

Gracing your eyes

Caressing your body

As my hands often did.

What would I give

To change this, to be

The droplet that changes

From an enemy

To an ally

With one touch of your lips.
