Lies
Lies were used to cover up truths. But some truths were just too strong, too obvious and too bittersweet to hide with a pretty little lie.
He had learned to not believe a word that came out of her mouth; she was too beautiful to be truthful. Beautiful girls were lies in themselves.
But somehow he could tell when she was telling truth.
When she told him she was going out, she was going out. When she said she was on the phone with Kaguya, she was on the phone with Kaguya.
…And when she said she loved him…
She meant it.
But nonetheless, beautiful girls were liars.
