Wild Child
I was listening to Wild Child by Enya and Fruits Basket came to my mind so I just started typing. This was my first songfic so tell me how you like it!
As Tohru cleaned the Sohma building she stopped to think about her life and all the joy it had given her. She met the Sohma family and learned a secret they tried so hard to keep.
Ever close your eyes, ever stop and listen? Ever feel alive, and you know nothings missing? You don't need a reason; let the day go on and on.
When her mother passed away she had lost a lot of her hope and courage. It was because of her friends that she was nice and kind even when everything went wrong.
Let the rain fall down, everywhere around you. Give into it now, let the day surround you. You don't need a reason. Let the rain go on and on.
The sohma's were all so kind and special in there own ways. Shigure had given her a place to stay in return for her to do the chores. Yuki had opened up more and gained the courage he'd been lacking, just from being around her so much.
Only take the time, from the helter skelter. Everyday you find everything's in kilter. You don't need a reason let the day go on and on.
Kyo, the one she loved had given her so much! He had been there for her in the thick and thin. He trusted her wit his deepest secrets and in return she showed him the joys of life.
Every summer sun, every winter evening, every spring to come, every autumn leaving, you don't need a reason let it all go on and on.
With the help of the Sohma's and her other friends, she was able to live her life to its full extent. She may not have her mother anymore but her friends have lessened her grief.
