Five years ago, Edward Elric sacrificed himself, body and soul, to the gate.
For What?
Alphonse Elrics' human body and memories. This, of course, left behind a very sad and diconsolate younger Elric. But, that's besides the point.
The point is:
He should have stayed gone.
He hadn't.
Edward Elric, The FullMetal Alchemist, was back.
Albeit,
Not in entirety.
His automail limbs had been removed, and by the looks of it unartfully and unskillfully, and his eyes were glazed and held a far-off expression.
Just what had happened to the chibi blonde alchemist on the other side of the gate?
