No Man's Road
Chapter 1
"And neither is the sun, it's just a mass of burning hydrogen, get to close to it and you burn."
We all do things that we regret for the rest of our lives. For some it is not telling a loved one what they mean to you before they are snatched away, for others it may be the regret of having sinned.
Yes, every one regrets something in their past. Sometimes, they forget one, but it is quickly replaced by another one-usually more troublesome than the last.
For Edward Elric it had been foolishly goading his brother into breaking the taboo of human transmutation, and having him pay the ultimate price for it. But now that that 'price' has been taken away from the gate and returned to it's rightful owner, what is Ed's regret.
At the moment, he wouldn't be able to tell you; He doesn't know.

Colonel Roy Mustang, more commonly referred to as "Taisa Bastard", was sitting in a hospital waiting room, and had it not been for his infinite worry for the patient he would have grown quite bored by now. But that patient was quite a mystery to him; He was supposed to be dead, or at least, by the laws of nature and equivilent exchange, he wasn't supposed to be here.
He had been missing for five years or so, give or take a few days, and his younger brother had gotten his body back and his memory was restored. Roy had been apalled when he had found him; In the middle of a field, clothes completely tattered and clearly showing that his automail was no longer intact-only later had Roy found out that it was missing completely.
He had wanted to bring the younger alchemist straight to headquarters for questioning, but upon closer inspection he had deemed that a trip to the hospital would probably be a better idea. No one in the military, not even Al, knew that the blonde was back-He had seemed stressed enough during the five minutes that he had been concious during the two-day train ride to the hospital, and he had decided that any additional stress might endanger the chibi alchemist even more; so he had opted for keeping on the quiet about his discovery.

"Mr. Mustang, He's waking up.", The nurse said, which meant 'Come with me if you want to see him' in nurse language, which Roy was quite fluent in from having moonlighted around the place so many times in his past. Nodding, the onyx-eyed Colonel stood up and accompanied the brunette nurse down the hall to the room they were hosting the injured blonde in.
Yeah, That's the first chapter; I know it's crap. But I'm bore(It's election day and my boyfriends not home, so I can't read any mature fanfics)
And thanks Frozen Magic Fire for the review-But I've onlt seen spoilers, I'm gonna download the fansub of eppie 51 this weeked XD
