Sasuke would have passed it by entirely if he hadn't spotted the poorly concealed blond locks sticking up every which way. Blue eyes glanced up at that moment, just in time to meet the other's smirk. Shock, embarrassment, and then defensive anger rose to the foreto combat the Uchiha's amusement.

"This was a mission!"

One eyebrow raised derisively, the cruel twist to his lips firmly in place. "O RLY?"

"YA RLY!"

"You could have made better puppets at least, dobe."

The sound of grinding teeth loudly marked Sasuke's departure from the clearing where Naruto had hosted this year's Konoha Mini-Puppet Show.
