The Silent Soul of Nothing

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha in anyway, whatsoever.

A.N.: I decided to re-write the first chapter and I hope it's better then the first. Goodbye and now, on with the chapter!

Chapter 1

It was a normal day for the Inuyasha gang. Nothing exciting seemed to be happening today and all they could do was keep on walking, hoping to catch a glimpse of a Shikon shard.

"Kagome, I'm bored and hungry. Can we rest now?" Shippou said weakly, while pretending to fake a feint.

"Feh. You've been sitting on Miroku's shoulders while we have to walk, and we're not stopping until we find a shard. Ya got that!" Inuyasha yelled as he laid a drew up his fist and punished the poor kitsune.

"Inuyasha..." Kagome said in a deadly tone.

He turned around and said simply,

"Damn."

"Sit!"

Inuyasha's body fell straight into the ground, his body twitched in the air. Kagome sighed and started walking the other way from the group.

"I have to get more supplies. I'll see you guys later." Kagome jumped onto her bike and peddled away from them.

Miroku, the monk, walked up to Inuyasha and poked him with his staff.

"Inuyasha, you have to stop hurting Shippou. It'll hurt you more them him. Literally speaking, of course."

"Yeah Inuyasha, does anything get through your skull?" Shippou jumped up and down and stuck out his tongue.

"Shippou has a point." Said Sango, the demon exterminator.

"Oh really..." said a voice behind Shippou. Shippou turned around to meet the beating of his life.

Soon after that, Inuyasha was standing beside a tree, thinking about the Kikyo-Kagome problem.

'Dammit, who the hell do I choose?" thought Inuyasha as he looked out towards the open fields.

Inuyasha was slowly falling asleep when his ears picked up something. He looked around but didn't see anything. Then he concentrated harder, this time, he knew what he heard. It was a human scream!

At Naraku's Castle:

Light footsteps could be heard in the hallway. A pale figure appeared from the other end and slowly traveled towards the dungeon. Her white kimono shimmered as she walked and her coal black eyes remained blank. She arrived at the dungeon to see Naraku already freeing Kagura from her prison.

"Kanna, you now see why escaping me is pathetic." Naraku stated coldly as he moved out of the way for Kagura to leave.

Freedom..., Kanna thought about it once or twice, but never did she try to get freedom.

'What's the point? I'll never escape. I am nothingness and I shall act like nothingness.' Thought Kanna while walking towards Naraku.

"You two better have remembered the plan." Naraku said calmly.

Kagura snorted at him and whipped out a feather from her black hair.

"Let's go Kanna."

Kanna nodded and traveled beside her sister. She followed her sister towards the entrance and Kagura changer her feather into a big one. Kanna and Kagura got on and they began to arise.

Kagura's blood red eyes surveyed the land while keeping a close eye out for any trouble. They soon landed and dropped down to meet their destination.

At the village:

Kagura and Kanna walked towards the village and set out to begin their plan.

"This won't be a challenge. Why the hell would Naraku call destroying a village a plan. That bastard has something up his sleeve."

"Perhaps..." Kanna said, her expression still remaining emotionless.

"Heh, thanks for the sisterly advice." Kagura said sarcastically.

"Your welcome."

Kagura scowled at her as they made their way towards the village. A sudden rustle was heard and out came a few dozen men from the huts. The leader appeared and pointed a accusing finger at the two.

"Foul demons! How dare you come on our turf! Now, leave or be slaughtered."

Kagura looked over at the leader and yelled,

"Come on then."

"Charge!"

The group of men ran full force at them. Kagura looked at her sister and whispered,

"Your turn."

Kanna whipped out her mirror and pointed it at the people. The men looked at her confused, then began to laugh.

"A mirror?! Are you going to defeat us by making us look at ourselves?"

The laughter soon ceased as a flash of light was seen and two men dropped to the ground.

"What are you?" asked the leader, his hands shaking.

Kanna trained her mirror at them and whispered,

"Your soul is mine." The people were engulfed by the light, then collapsed to the ground in a heap.

"I'm your worst nightmare." Kanna said flatly.
