Shooting Star Dreams
Prologue
Kel watched from in her room as the snow fell outside her window, gently blanketing the trees and ground. The stars twinkled brightly in the sky, lighting the darkness of the night.
A shooting star passed through her vision, and she watched until it disappeared, silently making her wish.
I wish Neal would see me the same way I see him.She smiled bitterly. No, that was one wish that would not be granted, no matter how many shooting stars came her way. It just wasn't to be. Even after he and Yuki broke up, she knew nothing would ever happen between herself and her best friend, as much as she wished it otherwise.
With a sigh, Kel moved away from the window and crawled into her bed, thoughts of her best friend still fresh in her mind.
How was she to know that, only a few rooms away, another was making a wish much similar, his thoughts only for her?
Very short, I know, but it will (hopefully) get better. I've had this little piece for sometime, sitting in my "Unmentionables" folder...hehehe. I decided that I could do something with it, so here I am! Anyway, a friend and I are now writing under the joint account of Dahlia Reynolds, and I would love if everyone would take a look at our new stories! They are HP, Harry/Ginny, Romance/humor. I've had lots of fun writing them so far, and hopefully you will have just as much reading them!
