CHARLIE AU

Charlie bladed down the street toward home jamming to the music on his diskman. He jumped of the curb and skated backwards for a while. Life was boring. Nothing ever happen.

"I live in the most boring town in the universe." He said out loud.

A figure suddenly appeared in front of him. He skid to a halt and took of his headphones.

"I'm sorry I didn't see you there." He said.

The man smiled at him." I couldn't help but over hear you. How would you like to go somewhere that isn't boring?"

Charlie began to slowly back away." Look mister, get away from me."

The man smiled. He threw a small mirror at Charlie" Catch."

Charlie caught the mirror. He looked up and the man was gone.

"What the…."

A bright flash of light filled his vision. He felt the ground under him change. He fell backwards and tumbled down an incline. He rolled as he hit the floor. He looked up at twenty guns pointed down at him.

"I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore." He said putting his hands up.

"Who are you? How did you get into this facility?" A voice boomed over the speaker.

Charlie slowly pushed himself up. The guns followed him. He turned and saw a window set up in the wall. Behind it he saw a group of people staring at him.

"Who are you? And where am I?" He replied.

A low rumbling came from behind him. Charlie turned and saw a huge stone ring standing behind him. He took a step back as lights flashed around the outer rim and a huge plume of water rushed at him. Instinctively he threw his hands over his head and ducked. He looked up and saw a group of soldiers walk out of the water. As he straightened they to trained their guns on him.

"Sweeet." He said taking a step toward the water. It snapped off just as suddenly as it opened. A chuckling behind him caused him to turn. The soldiers behind him smiled at him from behind their guns. One of the people that had come out of the water spun him around.

"Who are you?" The man asked.

"Okay, already been there with the voice from up there," Charlie said gesturing at the control room," that was sooo coool. How'd you do that? Where did you come from? I mean you weren't behind it. How much…"

"SG1, please escort our 'guest' to the infirmary with you. I'll met you there." The voice said.

"This way." The man said gruffly.

Charlie fell in behind him next to a woman." Hi, I'm Charlie," he said sticking out his hand," and you are?"

"Major Samantha Carter," She said smiling shaking his hand," how did you get in the Gate room?"

"Gate room? Is that what you call it. Not to sound dumb, but where am I? Last thing I knew I was skating down the street then I was here."
