A vein in the chief's head was ticking. Dee smirked as across the table his partner (unsuccessfully) tried to smother a laugh.

Chief glared at him, and Dee smiled innocently.

Under the table, his cell vibrated. A message from Ryo flashed on the screen: He's on to you.

Then stop laughing Dee typed in reply, grinning wider as Ryo had a small 'coughing fit'.

"LAYTNER!" Chief bellowed. "Stop flirting with Maclean and pay attention!"

Ryo flushed, and Dee quickly typed another message.

After the meeting, Ryo nudged Dee. "Love to love you?"

Dee leered.

Ryo smacked him upside the head.
