Equivalent Exchange

"I still don't get it."

"It's really quite simple-"

"There's nothing simplistic about it."

"It's Equivalent Exchange. You use it in everyday life!"

"Name one time."

"It's like how you pay the man at the market for apples-"

"Apples are over-priced. Pears are much less expensive."

"Fine. It's like when you buy PEARS from the man at the market-"

"But pears are under-priced."

"That's beside the point!"

"No it's not. That is the point."

"What?"

"You're talking about Equivalent Exchange. How can it be an equal exchange is the pears are under-priced?"

"Would you forget about that?"

"No. You're not making any sense and-"

"Riza?"

"Yes Roy?"

"You're impossible to teach."

"I am not. You're just a bad teacher."

"And yet you understand Equivalent Exchange perfectly."

"That's because Alphonse explained it to me years ago."

"Then why did you let go on about it like that?"

She turned in his arms and kissed his cheek, before returning to her original position; curled up against him on the couch. "Because I like the sound of your voice."

Author's note: Ah, there we go. A cute little Royai drabble that is probably OOC, but I don't care. Don't even ask where this came from XD
