Chapter 1: The News
They sat in the same place where we last left them, that little hill where Kagome poured out all her feelings and he promised her he wouldn't leave again.
She turned around and smiled.
"Thank you for saving me again," Kagome sighed.
"I should have been there sooner," he inched closer to her and gave her a quick peck on the lips without even thinking.
She blushed but didn't question it. She stood up and walked to Kaede's hut.
He smiled and followed her.
When they walked inside they sat next to each other and Kagome leaned against him and started to sleep.
An old man walked in and looked around.
"Is Lady Kaede here?"
Kagome popped up, "No, but is there anything I can help you with?"
"There is something I have to tell Kaede," and with that he left the hut.
Inuyasha and Kagome followed and when they caught up to the old man talking to Kaede, they heard the end conversation.
"But Kaede, I saw her, it was Kikyo, she's alive, she passed through my village two days ago."
"WHAT!" Kagome fainted.
