Chapter 1

Dear Diary,
It's been two years now and I still haven't forgotten the terrible memories of what happened during the final battle. All the people I cared for died, except one and he's one of my closests friends now. He helped me to except their deaths, and cared for me for many months after that. His name is Sesshomuru. I don't know whats happened to him after I came back, but sometime soon I'll pay him a visit, but right now I'm trying to retain my normal life. It's not the same without them though. I'll be going back in a week or two, and I'm going to live there you know. I'll come back to visit my family, but my grades are to bad to pass this year. I just can't seem to concentrate anymore. I would ask you why, but what would be the point? You can't give me an answer. It's already getting late and I have to go to bed, but for now thank you for listning.
Two weeks later
Sesshomuru was walking through the forest with Rin riding on Ah Un. He stops, and sniffs the air. "How is it that I can smell Kagomes scent? She's been gone for the past year and a half." He mused to himself striding off into the forest after making sure Rin would be safe, "Jaken, I have some business to take care of, watch Rin.If anything happens to her you'll pay for it."
Sesshomuru enters the clearing where the well is and finds Kagome sitting on the side of it.
"Kagome? It's been along time since we last saw each other hasn't it?"
"Yep, it sure has. It's good to see you again Sesshomuru,"
"It's good to see you again too Kagome. Why are you here? When you left it sounded as though you would be gone forever."
"I've decided to come back, and live here where I actually belong. I don't feel happy anymore when I'm at home. I have talked it over with my mom and she agreed as long as I came back to see them."
"Them?"
"My Mom, Sota, and Grampa."
"Well then if you plan to stay here in Fuedal Japan then I insist that you live with me."
"Thank you Sesshomuru for your kind offer, and I will gladly accept," Kagome replied with a small smile looking up at Sesshomuru. Seeing the thoughtful expression on his normally emotionless face was worrying her. "Sesshomuru?"
"Yes Kagome, what is it?"
"Um well, I was wondering what you were thinking about. You kinda had me worried there for a second,"
"Kagome you always seem to amaze me," Sesshomuru replied walking off toward the direction in which he had left rin.
