Foolish human.
They all think your heart is empty, that you feel nothing, know nothing but death. They don't realise what lies beneath. They don't realise that beneath that cold exterior, there lies the heart of a lonely man. They can't see it, because they can't read your mind.
But I can.
You try so hard to block it all out. You think that by becoming a heartless killer you will be safer. After all, if you don't feel for them, then they can't hurt you when they're gone.
Foolish human.
You try and you try, but you know that you can't do it. Beneath the cruel warrior hides a boy, terrified, afraid of the merciless killer he has become. Beneath that senseless rage is the heart of a gentle, loving child.
What happened?
Well, Caim? What happened to change you so drastically? You say it's the death of your parents. You say it's because you had to grow, to leave behind the innocence. But do you know what I think?
