Death
Hermione Granger sat in her small, humble apartment in muggle London. It has been four years to the day that Harry Potter had defeated the dark Lord. That also meant that it had been four years to the day that Harry had died. The prophecy had said that "when one lived the other could not," but what happened instead, nobody has been expecting. The war had taken a toll on everyone but not quite as bad as it has Harry. His entire life had been the war. Never once had Harry been able to act as a normal boy. Quidditch had been the one thing that had the power to allow Harry a sense of normalcy. But that has been taken away from his as well.
This is what Hermione has been contemplating within her cozy abode. Trying to justify Harry's actions. The black haired boy killed Voldemort on a normal spring morning and later killed himself on that same normal spring night. He wasn't alone though. His love, Draco Malfoy, went with him.
Draco had switched sides and naturally started to spend more and more time with Harry. They had fallen in love in ways no one could ever truly understand. And when Hermione had found their bodies, dead and entwined, that day four years ago, she also found a note covered in their blood that read, "Love is as strong as death."
