Hatori watched as Kana walked away from the house. Umbrella in hand. Tears were slowly in his eyes, knowing he'd never see that smile of love that would never be directed at him again.
He could still remember her words that day... The past...
The words I've spoken

" This will be your desk, and these are today's charts..." Hatori said before looking at Kana, who was looking out the window.
For one last time

" Here's a question for you..." Kana had said. Hatori stared. " When the snow melts, what does it become?"

Deny everything " Water of course..." Hatori answered.
Slowly walk away

" Nope! The answer is spring!" She turned smiling.

Kana looked down at a seahorse on the floor. " OH! WATER! NO SEAWATER! WHICH ONE IS IT WHAT DO I DO HATORI!" She panicked.

A little later she dried him off with a towel. " Sorry I panicked like that, I was so shaken up I couldn't thank... but now I finally know the reason..."
Hatori stayed silent.

But all dreams must end... Hatori's words echoed. Akito smashed the vase at Hatori, blood splattering everywhere.

" Hatori!" Akito panicked. He then looked at Kana. " THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" His words repeated in the echo of Hatori's memories. " YOUR FAULT!"
Slowly walk away
To breathe again
Hatori put his hand on Kana's head as they both cried. " Hatori, I'm so sorry... forgive me..." She whispered.

Hatori continued watching Kana walk away as his tear pools grew.

Hatori looked away. Images of Kana coming and going.

Hatori watched Kana's distancing back again. A tear beginning to appear.

It was as if his vision blurred like a glitching TV screen as she walked away.

Kana left, and Hatori finally cried. His tears falling. He knew he would never see her smiling so livingly at him again...
