One day, the tiny little sponge got out of bed and put on his pants. He started for the Krusty Krab singing, "I'm ready, I'm ready."

As Sponge bob entered the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs said, "Were closing down boy. I'm sorry but I'm going to need that hat back. "

But Mr. Krabs, I love this place."

"Sponge bob, the hat. Now!" "Fine." As Sponge bob walked out of the restaurant, he started sobbing.

"Hay pal. What's wrong?" Patrick asked. He couldn't answer. Then, as he entered the pineapple, Garry comforted him.

"Oh Garry, you wouldn't understand." Sponge bob was so sad, that when Sandy asked him to go jelly fishing with her, he didn't take the offer and went to bed.

The next morning, Sponge bob got up and ran to the Krusty Krab. He missed it so much that he started to like it. One of the citizens of Bikini Bottom asked the little dude what was wrong, but he received no answer. Days went by, but the perky, annoying Sponge bob that everyone knew had disappeared. People (or In this case fish or other sea creatures) only saw the little sponge when he was buying the necessities needed to live. Sandy Patrick and Evan Squidward worried and started to miss him. Finally, one day when Sponge bob was going to the grocery store, he saw Mr. Krabs. "Wait up lad."

Shouted Mr. Krabs. "I've bin meaning to give this to you," he gave him his Krusty Krab hat.

"But Mr. Krabs, I thought you closed down the restaurant."

"I was only getting some things repaired!" exclaimed Mr. Krabs.

"Then why did you want my hat?" questioned sponge bob in tears.

"I was getting it dry cleaned for you." Said Mr. Krabs. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, silence, came a huge laugh. A laugh so annoying that you would pull your hairs out! And with that description, you would know whose laugh I'm talking about. And that laugh continued, on and on and on. And so in that pineapple under the sea that sponge kept on laughing and laughing. And to this day, he is still laughing, and licking the Krusty Krab.
