"The Morgiana's will be arriving this evening. We will all sit down to dinner and when we you are done then you and Emmeline may go off by yourselves" Lucius ran through his orders to his 16-year-old son. Draco nodded and left the room.
Gawain and Nimue Morgiana were the cream of Wizarding society. Gawain Morgiana was one of the best sorcerers of the era and the most respected Death Eater in Voldemort's ranks (along with Lucius Malfoy of course). He and his wife Nimue were great friends with the Malfoys and came to stay every summer bringing along their only daughter Emmeline. Emmeline, like Draco, was about to start enter her 7th year of tuition in the Magical arts at Durmstrang School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Draco and Emmeline had known each other their whole lives – when they were smaller they enjoyed their summers practising Quidditch eagerly waiting to enter their magical schools. When they were older and more experienced at Magic they liked performing complex spells on each other and taunting any muggles that came wandering past the Malfoy Manor. They were always best friends. Nothing more.
Once summer had ended they both forgot each other until the eager week or so before the Morgiana's arrival. The week or so before they came was always eager – both for the children/teenagers and adults alike. Narcissa and Nimue were the best of friends who spent every minute of the summer shopping and boasting about their husbands. Lucius and Gawain usually spent most of their time labouring around the house and torturing innocent muggles, but since Voldemorts return they had both been busy serving their lord. Both Draco and Emmeline had small tattoos – a tiny snake wrapped around the middle of a mini Death Eater. These tattoos represented them as Loyal Death Children – Children of Death Eaters who would grow up to serve Voldemort. These tattoos created a special bond between Draco and Emmeline. They would always be able to find each other.
