He took out his dagger he had been hiding. The sun was about to come up so he had to do this quickly. Quickly and silently. He unsheathed the dagger and put the blade to his wrist. The blade traveled down his wrist and forearm, and stopped. Blood poured out and dyed his sheets red. Wincing at the pain a bit, he did the same thing to his other wrist. He could see a puddle of blood forming around him, way too much to be absorbed by his bed. Blood was now dripping onto the floor, making red stains on the white marble tiles. The plopping of the drops echoed. He felt his strength draining and he remained leaning out from the side of his bed… Ruwalk smiled for the last time before Alfeegi rushed in, cursing and yelling and shouting...
"Ruwalk! What the f--- happened!" Alfeegi screamed at a nearby guard, grabbing him by the collars. "I-I don't know, sir! H-he seemed to have k-killed himself..." The frightened Dragon Fighter answered shakily. The White Officer let go of him and turned to face Ruwalk, only to be surprised by Reema's sullen face. "R-Reema!" He gasped, almost falling back. "Is something the matter, Alfeegi-san?" The Dragon Fighter behind him asked as the others cleaned up the bloody mess, put Ruwalk into a better position, and leaving in a haste to inform the Dragon Lord. "N-nothing." Alfeegi stammered and motioned at Reema with his eyes to the hallway. Reema jumped off the bed and ran outside. Alfeegi took one quick look at Ruwalk's face and walked out quickly.
"Reema, when Ruwalk said he could see you, did you know that he would... do this to himself?" Alfeegi asked, sitting down in the shade of a large tree in the courtyard with Reema. The little faerie nodded. Alfeegi sighed and looked down, raking his fingers through his aquamarine hair. "Why th—" Reema tugged at Alfeegi just as he was about to say something. "I can let you meet him once more, if you wish. I'm sure he wishes to see you before he leaves this world, as well."
Pointless Babblings
Well, here's the sequel. Nobody's been reviewing nowadays and I was bored... I hope I get more reviews on this one. Anyways, sequel to Fireflies, this is probably going to be a complete RuAl fic... not sure if I should add in Reema as a part of the romance story XD
