This is just a one-shot about how Anakin might have felt when he kills Obi-Wan. I might have some of the dialouge from this scene wrong, so just tell me if it is. Anywho, on with the story!
"If I die, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
Why am I doing this? Anakin wondered. Why am I killing my friend?
He's no friend! I hate him for he did to me! I'll never forgive him! Never! Vadersneered with hate.
He's my friend.
Enemy.
Father.
Traitor.
Brother. Anakin said with firm sincerity.
Obi-Wan spotted Luke. In his heart, he knew that only death would give Luke a clear escape. Proudly, the Jedi Master lifted his gleaming blue lightsaber in submission.
Now! Now the fool shall see the power of the Sith!
No! Obi-Wan, my brother! Don't give up! You're my only hope of redemption! Please, no!
To Vader, the stroke that took Obi-Wan was a surge of power. To Anakin, it was a blinding flash of living death. The living death of watching a friend, a brother, die. And by your hand.
"Nooooooo!"
Anakin turned and saw his son.
"No, Anakin, he is your hope of redemption." Obi-Wan whispered from his dwelling in the Force.
"Obi-Wan. How could I have done such a thing. I killed you. How can I ever even think of forgiveness?"Anakin replied, grieving for his friend.
"It was not you who killed me. It was Vader. Just as it was not you who destroyed the Order." Obi-Wan assured.
"I wish I could change so many things. I wish I'd have killed the Emperor when his identity was revealed."
"Anakin, you are the Chosen One. Even still as Vader has taken your will to follow the light. You will bring balance to the Force. Remember that."
"May the Force be with you, Master"
"And with you, my friend."
Anakin watched with love as his son boarded the ship, while Vader watched with hatred as the enemy escaped.
And may the Force be with you, my son.
I'd like to know what you think, so just drop me a review. Thanks!
