Kuchiki Rukia couldn't believe what she'd just seen: Kurosaki Ichigo, dripping wet from that man-made rain they call a shower, in all his glory.
It was an accident, of course (yeah, whatever!). The little shinigami hadn't meant to as the bathroom door was already open. Must've thought no one was home, came the only thought she could muster. She plopped herself to the floor, her back against the hallway wall next to the bathroom door, fanning herself. She smiled as Ichigo raged war against the "damn shampoo bottle."
What was she to do? She had seen the young man naked. Rukia made an inward sigh. She didn't hear the shower stop, or the young man walking towards the hallway as she thought about the water dripping down his back to his…
But she did hear "Ahhh! What the heck are you doing?" and looked up to see a pink-cheeked Ichigo trying to cover himself with his hands. She looked at his hands, and then at his face, and saw that he was growing redder by the moment.
"IDIOT, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" he shouted as he ran to his room and slammed the door shut. Rukia concluded what Renji told her long ago was true.
"Will you guys shut up!" Rukia screamed. Her friends Abarai Renji and Madarame Ikkaku were arguing something about their zanpakutou. They obviously couldn't hear her over their bantering.
Sitting by the lake, she tried to block out the noise. She was thinking about her vice-captain when the red-headed Renji suddenly put an arm around her shoulder.
"…well, you know what they say about the size of your soul slayer…" he said, looking back at the bald-headed man and not really talking to Rukia at all.
"What do they say about the size of your soul slayer?" Rukia suddenly asked in her "innocent" way, slightly surprising Renji, who quickly recomposed himself.
"Oh, you know… The bigger your soul slayer, the bigger your—OWW!"
"Baka-mono, I don't want to hear that stupidity!" Rukia shouted, punching Renji in the face. Ikkaku fell to the ground, laughing.
